Cột Tròn Đều là một ví dụ hoàn hảo về sự phát triển của các loại cột kiến trúc. The Endura-Craft ™ Series is manufactured from the highest quality expanded cellular PVC, allowing them to be trimmed, drilled, and even fastened with traditional carpentry tools.

Although wood tools are used to install these innovative columns, there is no need for the traditional joinery work of wood columns or the constant painting and upkeep that wood products require.

With the E-Z Lock joint design,Endura-Craft ™ Columns come ready for quick and simple installation. This allows the columns to have hollow centers ready to wrap a support beam, act as a channel for downspouts, or hide wiring and plumbing. Detachable bases allow each column to be trimmed to a specified height.

With two traditional styles to choose from, either the smooth or paneled design,Endura-Craft ™ has the column that will fit your visual needs.

Người La Mã cổ đại tiếp nhận các ý tưởng của cột Hy Lạp vào phong cách riêng của họ

trong kiến trúc. Dựa trên các hình ảnh cổ điển của dòng cột Doric, các kiến trúc sư La Mã đã

tạo ra cột Tuscan. Khác với các cột Doric, cột Tuscan luôn đặc trưng với một chân đế tiêu

chuẩn với thiết kế đơn giản nhưng thanh lịch của nó.

Khi áp dụng theo đúng đặc trưng kiến trúc, các cột Tuscan được làm với một trục trơn có

dấu là một chi tiết ngay bên dưới đầu cột.

Theo Vignola, cột Tuscan nên đạt một độ cao, bao gồm cả

chân đế và đầu cột, là bảy lần đường kính thân cột. Sử dụng

các cột Tuscan với các thông số kỹ thuật cho phép nó có được

sư hấp dẫn trực quan nhất có thể.

Các cột Tuscan có thể được đặt hàng theo kích thước kiến trúc

đúng như theo Vignola, hoặc trong một sự kết hợp của chiều

Một trong ba loại cột Hy Lạp cổ điển, cột Ionic thường được phân biệt bởi vòng

cuộn phức tạp của nó được khắc vào đầu cột. Với hai mươi bốn rãnh, mỗi rãnh

được phân cách bằng một phi lê nhỏ bằng 1/3 chiều rộng của một rãnh. Khác

với rãnh nông của cột Doric Hy Lạp cổ điển, cột Ionic có rãnh đầy 1 vòng thân

cột.

Cột Ionic là loại đầu tiên có chân đế Atti để trang trí. Với một vành được thêm

vào, chân đế thanh lịch này đánh dấu các đầu cột Ionic phức tạp.

Tôn trọng các nguyên tắc lịch sử được thiết lập bởi Vignola, mỗi cột Ionic

có chiều cao bằng chín lần đường kính thân cột, kể cả chân đế và đầu cột.

Cột Ionic có thể được làm với kích thước kiến trúc xác định chính xác như của

Cột Corinthian là loại mảnh mai nhất trong ba loại cột Hy Lạp cổ điển và thường

được coi là cột thanh lịch nhất trong kiến trúc. Nguyên bản đầu tiên được tạo ra

giữa khoảng 450-420 TCN tại ngôi đền của Apollo Epicurius ở Bassae. Cột

Corinthian bao gồm ba lớp lá Acanthus với hình xoắn ốc nhô ra ở góc 45 độ trên

mỗi góc.

Theo Giacomo da Vignola, Cột Corinthian phải có chiều cao bằng mười lần

đường kính thân cột. Tương tự cột Ionic, mỗi cột Corinthian được bao quanh bởi

hai mươi bốn rãnh, với một phi lê nhỏ giữa mỗi rãnh. Với sự mảnh mai, thân cột

Placing an OrderTo best fulfill your project needs, there are a few things that we need to know before you place your order:

How many columns are you looking for?

What size are you looking for?To order a column, you need to know the diameter of the column as well as the total height.

What style will fit your project the best? Are you looking for a plain, smooth column that has an architectural taper, a non-tapered column, or are you planning on using a more decorative, fluted style?

Which capital have you decided on?We have several classic capi-tals such as the Tuscan, Roman Ionic, Scamozzi, and Roman Corinthian.

What type of material best fits your needs? Each of the column designs are available in several materials. You have the choice of any species of wood (stainable or paintable), FRP (able to be used in almost any application), and fiberglass (perfect for exterior projects).

Do you have any questions that we may assist you with?

Frequently Asked QuestionsAre these columns load-bearing? Our Endura-Stone™,Endura-Classic™, and Endura-Wound ™, as well as our wide array of wood columns, are all load bearing.

How are the columns shipped?The columns either ship with a qualified carrier company or on a Pacific Columns truck. Decorative capitals may be shipped separately via UPS or compa-rable shipper.

What happens if my columns arrive damaged? Each column is carefully inspected, packaged, and then banded snugly to a pallet. In the unlikely case that a product does not arrive in perfect con-dition, you should refuse the order with the shipping company by writing “Damaged goods in shipment-return to sender” on the bill of lading. For further information, please call (800) 294-1098.

Can I return my columns? Pacific Columns does provide a limit-ed return policy for inventory items in proper condition.We do reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee for returned items. For more information on returns or cancellations, please call (800) 294-1098.

Can I trim my columns to a shorter height? Yes you can. If the column is non-tapered, you may trim to any specific height. If the column is a Pacific Columns tapered model, you can trim up to 1/3 of the total shaft height without affecting how the base or capital fit. Each column must be trimmed from the bottom of the shaft.

If my columns are split, what type of adhesive do I need toreassemble them?To reassemble a split Endura-Series Column,a polyurethane construction adhesive should be used. This prod-uct can be found at any hardware or construction-supply provider. For our wood columns, any waterproof wood glue should be used.

If my columns are split, are they still load-bearing? Split columns are used for visual purposes only. Once the column is cut vertically, it is no longer load-bearing.

How do I secure a split column to a wooden or metal post?Depending on your application, there are several ways to hold a column in place when used for decoration purposes only. One of the most common ways to hold a column in place is to use stan-dard L brackets on the bottom and top of the column’s shaft. The Tuscan Base and Capital hide this method of installation. If being assembled around a wooden post, a common way to secure the column is by using wood shims. The shims should fit snugly between the column shaft and the post for proper stability. Be sure to visit our website www.PacificColumns.com for more extensive information.

Do I have to paint these columns? It depends. If you are using one of our Endura-Stone™,Endura-Classic™,Endura-Wound ™ or Paint grade wood columns, then an oil-based or acrylic latex paint must be used. Our Endura-Craft™ Columnscome in a pre-finished material that, unless installation touchups are needed, does not require painting. They are manufactured from a washable material that can be sprayed or wiped clean from time to time. By definition, a stain grade wood column is intended to be used with a wood stain.

Do the capital and base add any height to the column? For all of our Endura-Series Columns, the capital and base do not addany height unless a decorative capital is used. For all of our wood columns, the capital and base do add height. These heights can be adjusted per your request.

What exactly is QuickShip?QuickShip is our new program that allows Pacific Columns the quickest lead-times in the industry.When using this option, your products will be shipped from one of our many locations within three business days after processing your order. If utilizing this method of delivery, the QuickShip option must be specified when placing your order for columns.
