Below are some of the creative activities done by students under my supervision in Safa British School Dubai, UAE.

Currently in Topic, students are learning about the jungle. I chose to display their artwork this way.To celebrate International day, the children in my class, who are ages 5 and 6, created a jigsaw puzzle of a country’s map and flag using pastels, card, fabric, feather and glitter. The remarkable outcome was the direct result of teamwork; each child designed a piece of a card and they worked in unison to fit them all in the right place.

ECA activity consisting of embellishing the ordinary to become extra ordinary. Year One learned about various famous artists and did their own interpretation of Monet’s ‘Bridge’, Vincent van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers’ and Pablo Picasso’s ‘Weeping Woman’.

In December 2015, we had the door competition; where every year group in school has to decorate their classroom door . I was instrumental in coming up with the theme for Year one’s doors. We won the door competition for our creative way of displaying the 12days of Christmas. I guided my class in decorating the 8th and 12th days of Christmas.

Teaching children about eating healthy in 2014/2015. The arrangement of the display was something I handled personally.

ECA on using Mixed Media to teach children to create various art pieces. There was a recycling fashion show and I supported one of the children to design and create the above from plastic bags and reusable shopping bags.

In 2015/2016, the students in Year 6 were put in groups to set up a business venture. I taught a group of 6 girls how to make the above products. They sold the highest number of products and made the highest amount of money.
