POPAT CynnarPre-reading and writing skills. Making sure that children understand that symbols represent real objects.

Iaith ar DaithDescribing pictures and objects in full sentences by using verbs, nouns and adjectives.

Tric a ChlicWelsh phonics scheme. Children practise the Welsh phonic sounds throughout the week. The purpose of this scheme is to improve the pupils phonological knowledge which improves the pupils Welsh reading and spelling skills.

Darllen [Reading]

• Ffocws ar ddatblygu sgiliau darllen cynnar. Focus on develop early reading skills.

• Bydd llyfrau unigol yn cael ei anfon adref bob Dydd Gwener gyda’r loglyfr. Individual books will be sent home on Friday with learning logs.
