JOB DESCRIPTION

1 Check and observes the proper functioning of assigned plant and equipment by reading pressure gauges, levels, temperature, amperage and recording such findings on a logsheet identifying the equipment, the specific reading and time and date occurrence .

2 Observation / Patrol all equipment such as noise, spillage, critical gauge reading and leakages, and makes process adjustments in accordance with instruction from panel operators .

3 Ensure stability of production operations with primary function is monitoring of DCS panel, process and utility parameters in process plant, and notify any deviation of plant equipment and rectify as necessary to insure the optimum condition and operation of daily production activity .

4 Monitoring and operate all field equipment in a safe and efficient manner ensuring uninterrupted operation of plant, in compliance with Health Safety Environment standard and procedure .

5 Responsible for the entire field operations of all equipment in plant area, include types of equipment such as pumps, compressors, storage tanks, furnace, pipelines, vessel, control valve, heat exchanger, valve, chiller, air dryer, power substation .

6 Respond immediately to plant process opset / emergencies and safety emergencies .7 Normaly the first person to observe and react to any field equipment abnormalities .8 Carry out the witness subcontractor maintenance work ( General Work, Hot Work,

Confined space work, ellectrical work ) , the safety treatment procedure for maintenance work and test run of equipment after the maintenance work finished .

9 Implement annual shutdown maintenance and startup of plant in safely operation accordance standard operation procedure that already established .

10 Provide cause anaysis assistance to production staff to correct the problem occurred and preventing to be happen agains .

11 Carries out other similar or related duties such as assisting operators in other units during start up, collecting samples , taking samples to the laboratory if urgently needed, collecting chemicals , assisting in fire fighting, etc . Also ensures that all equipment is keep free of oil and grease and that the area is keep tidy during emergencies . Assist with Fire Fighting in case major fire .
