As titles go this e-Solutions is as aptly named as it could possibly be. Just about every item in it is brand spanking shiny new. We even changed the look of the publication to keep up with all the newness.

Ronin is above all things else a solutions company. To supply effective solutions we have to maintain a constant regime of innovation and renewal. This issue celebrates this by focusing on all that is new and exciting about the space we as a company currently find ourselves in.

What is really exciting is that most of these new things are really big new things. This year we built the biggest show stand in our history at NAMPO and also secured the biggest single order for our proprietary solutions to boot.

We also saw considerable jump in staff at our of-fices this year. On that note I would like to welcome the following staff members to the Ronin clan: Jes-sica Naidoo (Reception - HO), Bianca Lindzbacher (Procurement Clerk - HO), Cristelle Becker (Admin-istrator - IMS), Tiaan Hebst (Instrument Technician - GMS), Johan Liebenberg (Instrument Technician - GMS), Mike Smith (General Manager - GROUP), and Calvin Hancock (Manufacturing Assistant - HO).

Hold on and buckle up. The ride is about to begin.

It’s that time of the year again. We just hit July and this means that it is now Ronin Calendar Competition time!

This year Ronin and it’s activities are going to be the focus of the 2016 Ronin Calendar competition. This might sound like a limiting theme but if you look around you with a photographer’s eye you will quickly see the wealth of subject matter present in your every day environments that can be related back to Ronin and it’s activi-ties in your field. Fastest and easiest way to take a correct & representative sample from an open truck

When the core tube is forced downward into the load, the grain, due to the down pressure, is pushed upwards into the inner chamber of the core tube and carried to the receiving chamber, located in the weigh bridge office. This is done via steel and plastic tubing. In the receiving chamber the air is seperated from the sample and the clean air is circulated back through the air motor and discharged through the outside chamber of the core tube.

Build-up or “blinding” on vibrating screens is a maintenance headache. It causes a decrease in productivity and adds to unnecessary downtime. To alleviate this unwanted headache Ronin now offers high quality rubber balls to elliminate the problem completely.Screens can only operate if they are constantly being cleaned with a hard work-ing rubber ball. The correct ball size to screen slot ratio is crucial to achieve this. Ronin provides a range of sizes which are manufactured to combine oil resistant compounds with regular rubber compounds to ensure a good lifespan of the ball. The rubber balls undergo the most stringent testing in terms of oil resist-ance and temperature. The Ronin ball passes the ASTM3 standard industry test-ing between -10 degrees and 100 degrees Celsius. Ronin balls pose no threat to your delicate products. Further technical information is available upon request.

PROJECT EGYPTOOOThis press release follows that of a Cimbria press release declaring that Cimbria, our European partner and distributor of Ronin GMS bulk commodity inventory management solutions, has secured the biggest single order in Cimbria’s and Ronin GMS’s history.

This order is connected with a delivery of 23 grain silo plants to Egypt. Each of the silo plants will feature Ronin’s proprietary bulk commodity management systems to effectively manage volumes and quality of grain in storage.

As its largest single order to date this project represents a major milestone in Ronin’s 12 year history. Mr. F. Mey-er, the Ronin executive responsible for negotiating the contract with Cimbria executives, travelled to Thisted (Denmark) in March of this year where the necessary agreements and logistical details were finalised.

Production is proceeding smoothly at Ronin’s manufac-turing facility situated in Johannesburg South Africa and the first shipments have already departed our shores. The remaining order will follow according to schedule.

If you wish to learn more about Ronin’s full range of bulk commodity management solutions please visit the Ronin GMS website at: www.roningms.com

BAUMA 2015

The market for construction and mining machinery in sub-Saharan Africa holds great potential, a fact that is reflected in the level of interest in BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA. Many major players in the industry have already signed up to exhibit. The next edition of this International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines and Construction Vehicles takes place from September 15 to 18, 2015 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre (JEC).

Samantha Swanepoel, General Manager of Marketing at Barloworld Equipment, certainly understands the importance of this event: “BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA serves as an excellent opportunity to unveil new Cat® equipment technologies and earthmoving solutions to our Southern African mining, construc-tion and industrial customer base.”

Gary Bell, CEO of Bell Equipment, adds: “Geared at two of our major sectors, construction and mining, BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA is a prime opportunity to showcase Bell as the continent’s home grown, one-stop shop for quality equipment solutions. We are excited that BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA 2015 promises to build on the inaugural show by attracting more industry role players and generating positive spin-offs for the region, the industry and our customers.”

Not only are the likes of Barloword Equipment and Bell Equipment choosing BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA as a networking platform in sub-Saharan Africa. Other major players have also signed up, among them, for the first time, are Case Construction, Deutz Dieselpower, MTU, New Holland Construction, Scania, Ulma and WACO. Ronin® will also be attending BAUMA CONEXPO AFRICA as an exhibitor this year.

Nine international pavilions planned

The excellent uptake by major companies is matched by a high level of interest from abroad: So far, nine countries and regions are planning to organize joint presentations of exhibitors at the show. These are: China, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, North America, Spain, the UK and the Walloon Region.
