The Black Baby Show 2015 The Black Baby Show is the first parenting, children’s and babyexpo devoted to parents, carers and those who are with child ofAfrican and Caribbean descent. Embracing all and excludingnone, this annual event provides a diverse and unique culturalexperience and an opportunity to engage with top qualityspecialists in multicultural fashion, health and wellness,

parenting, maternity and childcare services, interactive adultsand children’s workshops, seminars, arts & crafts, cultural toy’s,

education and much more.The show will deliver exhibitions, seminars and workshops in

The Black Baby Show is a social enterprise which means thatwe trade for a socially beneficial purpose. We reinvest all ofour profits back into the community to help alleviate socialissues and support parents of black and minority ethnic

backgrounds.

Our mission is to:1. Provide education, information, products, services andsupport for parents, guardians, caregivers and children ofBAME (Black and Minority Ethnic) heritage regardless of

sexual orientation, race or creed.

2. Provide a platform for businesses that produce, create, andprovide products and/or services for children of black and

ethnic minority.

3. Build an international recognised brand to raise awarenessfor the cultural needs of BAME children in the care system and

in separated duel heritage families.


The Show is medium for parents and carers as well asbusinesses to network their needs, products and services tothe wider community.

After recognising a gap in the expo market for culturalawareness for children, babies and parents thereof, it wasimperative that an exhibition of this kind was developed. TheBlack Baby Show launched with a successful event onMarch 31st 2013 which saw over 500 guests engage indiverse informational workshops, seminars and a live fashionshow, as well as 40 unique stands covering cultural itemsfrom clothes, toys, baby and children cultural education andentertainment, maternity fashion, accessories, and babywear, Afro hair and skincare products and Maintenanceworkshops, Health foods and Fitness, Pregnancy Yoga,Healing and Meditation, Breastfeeding, Doula work andmuch more.
