2012-2015 Edmonton Chinese United Church, Edmonton, Alberta - Pastor Gregory (Gary) LimServed as pastoral intern for two semesters in charge of preaching, and Bible Study, and was hired as full-time pastor on May, 2013 upon graduation from Master of Divinity program at Taylor Seminary, Edmonton, Alberta, in charge of all the teaching, preaching, co-ordination of events and activities, caring and counselling of members

2009-2012 South Edmonton Alliance Church, Edmonton, Alberta – Rev. Genghis ChanServed as pastoral intern in charge of caring, and Cantonese Sunday School as well as teaching Adult Sunday School and leading Bible Study, and started Master of Divinity studies at Taylor Seminary, Edmonton, Alberta

2005-2009 Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church (ECAC), Edmonton, Alberta – Rev. Victor ChanServed as Junior Ministry Sunday School Coordinator, Senior High Sunday School teacher, Mandarin to English Interpreter, and subsequently Caring Ministry Deacon, coordinated the Children’s program as part of ECAC Castle Downs Outreach and led a Small Bible Group outside of church made up of past church members

Scott TaylorSang in the Sunday worship praise team, opened our home to brothers and sisters to promote friendship and fellowship, filled in for Senior Pastor to teach Adult Sunday School at times, preached on 1 Timothy 3; my two daughters were baptized in Grace Church and we left to move to Edmonton, Alberta

1996–1998 Hope Church (Evangelical Free), Wilton, Connecticut – Rev. Cliffe KnechtleAttended worship, and started an independent bible study fellowship primarily for Cantonese speaking brothers and sisters twice a month, with a pastor from New York City preaching in one, and I leading bible-study in the other; conducted training workshop for Children Sunday School teachers at Westchester Chinese Alliance Church

Led worship a and interpret sermons from Mandarin to English, taught adult, youth and children Sunday School, sang in the choir and involved in small groups; was appointed as coworker of Christian Education, and then Chairman of the Coworkers Board, and coordinated Children’s program for Annual Summer Joint Conferences; finished my Master of Business Administration at University of Connecticut in May 1998


1987-1994 Westchester Chinese Alliance Church - Philip Teng & Rev. Paul TheophilusLed worships, and taught adult, youth and children Sunday School, set up youth programs nicknamed Gary’s Crazy Games and organized children’s outreach program including a carnival as part of the church's annual evangelistic outreach.

Established Children worship, and subsequently was appointed Sunday School Elder; helped seminary interns establish adult discipleship programs based on my past Evangelism Explosion experience as a trainer; led a small group of church families who lived in Connecticut.

Had our second daughter in late 1989

1986–1987 Norwalk Nazarene Church, Norwalk, Connecticut – Rev. Donald MintzStarted up a Children Sunday School program but left to attend Westchester Chinese Alliance Church in New York in 1987.

1982–1986 Calgary Chinese Alliance Church, Calgary, Alberta – Rev. Gabriel TsangMarried my wife in Calgary in August 1982, and had our first daughter in 1986; attended Beracah Career Fellowship, appointed devotional leader, and eventually chairperson of Beracah Fellowship; taught children and junior high Sunday School, and coordinated Sunday School Teachers Training; certified as a trainer for Evangelism Explosion to lead trainees for Sunday afternoon visitations and attended Walk Thru The Bible Old Testament, and New Testament.

1979–1982 North Point Alliance Church, North Point, Hong Kong - Rev. Philip TengAttended Sunday worship, and led a small group leader for Joshua Fellowship, and lead a small group of brothers and sisters with IT background to process data from a church wide survey on devotional practices; provided advice to chairperson of Joshua Fellowship on training through manpower allocation.

Left Hong Kong to immigrate to Calgary, Canada in January 19821976–1979 Kitchener-Waterloo Chinese Christian Fellowship (KWCCF) - Rev. Arthur Louis, Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly - Rev. John Shrier, Kitchener-Waterloo Chinese Alliance Church (KWCAC), Waterloo, Ontario – Rev Jacob Lintang Came to Christ at my first KWCCF small group bible study in September 1976, became KWCCF’s business manager, small group leader, local rep for winter conference, and eventually the summer chairperson

Was baptized at Waterloo Pentecostal Church. Moved to Kitchener-Water Chinese Alliance Church afterwards where I was a Children Sunday School teacher, interpreter, worship leader, choir member, and even acted in a Christmas play, and left upon graduation with Bachelor of Mathematics degree from University of Waterloo in Summer 1979.
