Accomplished, refreshed and refined.The new i40.The first impression is one of balanced elegance, quickly confirmed by the way the signature hexagonal grille blends smoothly into the flowing contours of the new Hyundai i40. Together with new Bi-Xenon headlamps, LED fog lamps and sculpted front bumper, new alloy wheels add a distinctly dynamic emphasis. Available as a 5-door Sedan or Wagon, the striking exterior design of the new i40 is complemented by the high quality materials that furnish the comfortable and roomy interior.

The new i40 also comes with significant functional and technological upgrades including the new 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission and revised Euro6 engines. The sleek profile of the new i40 Wagon embraces a class-leading 1719 litre load space that is accessed via a wide-opening tailgate with optional hands-free operation. Both Sedan and Wagon are available with a panoramic sunroof and the refreshing comfort of ventilated front seats.

An engaging blend of premium design and technology.Wherever you look, wherever you touch, you’ll immediately be aware of the quality that’s an integral part of the new i40. Quality is also engineered into the available state-of-the-art technologies that can be specified in the i40, keeping your journeys as safe and stress-free as possible.

Here are just a few examples of the user-friendly technologies that make driving the i40 such a pleasure.

Smart Parking Assist System (SPAS). Before executing parallel parking, activated sensors can identify a viable parking space, then steer the i40 perfectly into the available space. You control the accelerator and brake, the system does the rest.

New navigation system with 3D imaging. Our latest generation satellite navigation system is equipped with a 7” TFT colour display that provides better touch-screen functionality, a new 3D display mode and the clarity of DAB digital radio.

Speed limit information. The new Speed Limit Information Function monitors roadside signs and displays the current speed limit via the new, high-resolution TFT display.

Dual-Clutch Technology. The 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) brings distinct benefits to both performance and fuel efficiency. Available with the high-output (141 hp) diesel engine.

Distinctly elegant. Decidedly practical.The dynamic lines of the new i40 Wagon encompass a roomy passenger compartment and class-leading variable luggage space. Enjoy all the qualities and comfort of the i40 with the additional ability to accommo-date as much, or as little, as you choose. All this usable space is made more convenient and accessible by the luggage rail system and hands-free tailgate operation, while ECS allows you to adjust rear axle damping characteristics.

Variable load space. The rear seats feature a 60:40 split-folding backrest with a one-touch folding system, so you can still carry large amounts of luggage as well as a rear seat passenger or two. With all rear seats folded, the load space expands to 1719 litres.

Enclosed load space with luggage rail system. The large load space swallows 553-litres of luggage out of sight below the retractable load-cover. The luggage rail system prevents heavy items from moving around when driving.

Rear Electronic Damping Control (ECS). ECS enhances the new Ad-vanced Traction Cornering Control (ATCC) in the i40 Wagon by matching suspension settings to the load distribution and your preferred drive mode.

Hands-free tailgate operation. The Smart Power Tailgate of the i40 Wagon senses the approach of the key-carrying driver and automati-cally lifts open to provide effortless access to the capacious load space
