During the Winter Olympics in 1984 Trebević was the site of the bobsleigh, skeleton and luge competitions. The track was the most demanding and most expensive project of the Olympics but also the fastest, yet safest track in the world. Today it is decorated with murals and graffiti, and is a popular tourist attraction.

This Complex is the largest sports and recreation facility of this kind in Sarajevo. It has been named after Juan Antonio Samaranch, a great friend of Sarajevo. During the Olympics it was the venue of the ice hockey and figure skating events. Zetra Complex will be the main venue of the EYOF Sarajevo 2019.

olympicmuseum...The museum first opened its doors during the Winter Olympic Games in 1984. Its first location was inside a prominent Austro-Hungarian “Villa Mandić”, in the center of Sarajevo. The building was badly damaged at the beginning of the last war and most of the collection was transferred to the Zetra Complex.

With the capacity of 34,500 seating places this is the biggest stadium in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The stadium hosted the official opening ceremony of the 14th Olympic Games in Sarajevo, for which it was thoroughly renovated and expand-ed and is therefore often called the Olympic Stadium.

Mountain Igman is a popular destination for hiking and skiing and was the big ski jumps, biathlon and cross-country skiing venue during the Olympics. Today Igman is one of the most popular attractions and excursion sites among the local population.

This popular tourist attraction for hiking, skiing and paragliding is only twenty minutes drive from Sarajevo. During the 14th Olympic Games held in 1984, Bjelašnica hosted competitions in various alpine skiing disciplines for men such as downhill, slalom and giant slalom.

This is another Olympic mountain, located 30 km east of Sarajevo. During the Winter Olympics it was a venue of the slalom and grand-sla-lom competitions. Nowadays, it is a winter resort that stands out for its special quality of ski slopes and mountain ambience.

The Cultural and Sports Center Skenderija was built in 1969 and was further adapted for the needs of the Winter Olympics. Within the complex there are several multi-purpose halls where different sports, cultural and fair events are held. During the Olympics, it was the venue for the ice hockey and skating events.
