CT STUDY OF 'EAD

Infratentorial

• Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.

• Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

• Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial 

• Both the cerebral parenchyma show normal gray and white matter differentiation.

• Basal cisterns are clear.

• Left lateral ventricle is more prominent than right .Third and right lateral ventricles are

normal in size .

•  No midline shift is seen.

OPINION:

LATERAL VENTRICULAR ASYMMETRY [ NORMAL VARIANT ] .

NO EVIENCE SU!!ESTIVE O" ANY "OCAL PARENC#YMAL ISEASE

OR ANY SPACE OCCUPYIN! LESION IS IENTI"IE.

Clinical correlation is necessary.
