RESISTANCE WARNING
For resistance management KARMEXDF is a group code C2 herbicide. Any weed population may
contain individuals naturally resistant to KARMEXDF and other group code C2 herbicides. The
resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are usedrepeatedly. KARMEX
DF or any other group code C2 herbicide may not control these resistant
weeds.

To delay herbicide resistance:
Avoid exclusive repeated use of herbicides from the same herbicide group code. Alternate or tankmix with registered products from different herbicide group codes.
Integrate other control methods (chemical, cultural, biological) into weed control programmes.
For specific information on resistance management contact the registration holder of this product.
USE RESTRICTIONS:Do not apply more than 12 kg of KARMEX
DFper hectare per annum for any crop.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: USE ONLY AS DIRECTEDCOMPATIBILITY:KARMEX
DFmay safely be mixed with the following products at the recommended concentrations
(Registration numbers in brackets):Velpar DF(Reg. No. L5432 Act No. 36 of 1947), MCPA (Reg. No. L1404 Act No. 36 of 1947), Oxytril
(Reg. No. L3982 Act No. 36 of 1947), Sencor 480 SC (Reg. No. L3034 Act No. 36 of 1947), HarnessEC (Reg. No. L3029), Metribuzin SC (Reg. No. L4374 Act No. 36 of 1947); Falcon 960 EC ((Reg. No.L5750 Act No. 36 of 1947).
MIXING and APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Half fill the spray tank with clean water. Then add the required quantity of KARMEX DF as
recommended under RECOMMENDATIONS. When KARMEX DF is used in tank mixtures withother chemicals, first add the adjuvant, then the suspension concentrate (SC) and finally theemulsifiable concentrate (EC) herbicides. If OXYTRIL is a constituent of the tank mix, it is importantto note that the OXYTRIL be added after all the other remedies have been put into the spray tank andmix well. Top the spray tank up to the required volume. The spray mixture should be kept in suspension throughout spraying by continuous agitation. Do notuse air agitation. Foaming must be kept to a minimum.
Ensure that application equipment is correctly calibrated prior to spraying to ensure uniform coverageof the area to be treated. Openings in sieve should be 50 mesh or larger.
KARMEXDF is not a contact weed killer; it kills weeds by being absorbed through the roots and best
results are obtained when KARMEXDF is applied prior to weed germination.
KARMEX DF is most effective when applied to moist soil under conditions favourable for weedgrowth.

DF or mixtures containing KARMEX
DF may cause some
scorch or yellowing of sugarcane leaves. This is normally temporary, and yield will not besignificantly affected.
