An Overview

● Cost effective one point solution for total School / College data management. The software can be hosted on a web server or in a Local LAN thereby saving Internet costs.

● ID Cards of the Students and Staff can be generated and printed from the system to a local colour printer which can be further laminated and issued, thereby heavily reducing costs and quick availability.

● Daily Attendance of Staff / Students can be done online and realtime reports generated doing away with the manual systems saving human effort and increased accuracy.

● Savings in terms of investment in multiple softwares, maintenance and training needs. Improves on Data Security as its runs from an internal server and the access is browser based with user level authentication to modules.

● SMS can be generated for passing on real time information to the parents of the Students viz. Absenteeism, Fee Balance, Meetings, Emergency School/College Holidays etc.

CMS : Merits

● The software is Modular based. Choice to install required modules only.

● Access to different users is on need to know basis which can be decided from admin login.

● Major functions of the system can be run on a tablets/smartphones giving high level of mobility and wireless connectivity to real time data.

● No major infrastructure investments involved except 1-3 barcode scanners (costing around 5000 - 6000 INR each) as additional investment from the existing ones in the Institution for ease of data entry.

● No extra hardware requirement. The servers, PCs, printers, Scanners, Network etc which are available in the Institution will be used for running the system.

● Online and telephonic support by Ksoft Technologies at office hours.

CMS : Ease of Use

● The Administrator will be demonstrated to take backups of the data and store in a different place for data security and retrieval in case of any emergency / natural outrage / system break down etc.

● The Administrator will be also shown how to create and remove users and give privileges as needed for each user on a need to know basis only.

● The administrator will be advised not to share the access of the Server to the other users in the organisation for maintaining the data safety & Security of the system.

● Online training and videos on how to use each module and for future reference of new employees of the organisation.

CMS : Training

CMS : Support● All support / maintenance support will be given online and there is no need for the

Service Engineer to visit the location. This makes service/support faster.

● Free support for 2 months post installation and running of the system.

● After the 2 months free support, the institution can engage into an Annual Maintenance Contract with the company for regular support / upgrades etc.

● The Database & PHP is Open Source thereby no license fee is involved.

● All AMC contracts to be signed before completion of the free support and payments to be in advance to ensure smooth support and administration of the documentation process for the same. Normal rate of 30% of total cost.
