Lesson summary:
For this lesson, pupils will learn about 5 hobbies. The lesson will start with a video to grab the pupils attention. Then, teacher will show several pictures and words cards of different types of hobbies. After that, teacher will write 4 simple sentences for one of the hobbies. Pupils will receive an envelope of words and they need to group them according to the hobbies. Lastly, pupils will produce their own sentences according to their abilities with guidance.
Content Standard:1.1 By the end of 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to pronounce words and speak confidently with the correct stress ,rhythm and intonation.
Learning Standard:

Pupils previous knowledge: Pupils have learnt the body percussion in Year 1.

SET INDUCTION+ 5 minutes1) Pupils watch the demonstration by teacher .
2) Pupils write their own occupation on the paper given .
1)Teacher shows a magic.
2)Teacher gives pupils one piece of paper for each group and asks them to write the name of occupation on it.
3)Teacher will guess the name of occupation based on the paper chosen.
T: I will demonstrate to you a magic.T:Write your occupation on the paper given by each group.

T:I will pick up randomly one paper from each group and guess.
PRESENTATION STAGE
+ 15 minutesTeacher asks pupils to read after the dialogues together.
2) Teacher asks pupils about the occupations they know.
3) Teacher asks pupils to read the dialogues in pairs with intonation and action and present in front of the classT: Read the dialogues after me.
T: What are the other occupations do you know?
T: Find your partner and practice the dialogues.
PRACTICE STAGE
+ 15 minutes1) Teacher asks pupils to copy and fill in the blanks the sentences at the whiteboard into their exercise book.
2) Teacher asks several pupils to read their sentences.T: Copy these sentences and fill in the blanks.
T: Please read loudly.
PRODUCTION STAGE
+ 20 minutes1) Teacher distributes worksheet to each pupil and instructs them to complete in 10 minutes.
2) Teacher discusses the answers with the pupils.T: Everybody must complete this worksheet in 10 minutes.
T: Lets discuss the answers.
