This letter is for anyone actively considering Fred Robinson for an employment opportunity. As the former General Manager of El Arbol restaurant in Austin, Texas and veteran of 20+ years of management experience in the service industry I have seldom encountered a more versatile employee than Fred.
Fred has consistently and gracefully performed beyond my expectations, regardless of less than optimal conditions. He was in my employ from the opening of El Arbol in February of 2010 to September of 2011. During Fred’s employ as a waiter, he picked the up the intricacies of the dishes and our service immediately, and was an integral part of the El Arbol team. Through work ethic, product knowledge, and an extraordinary knack for communication & product presentation, Fred exceeded not only management’s expectations but that of our customer’s. Fred is one of those rare employees that never complained, would take direction, pick up shifts on short notice and was consistently a helping hand in the team atmosphere we required at El Arbol.
