CONCEPT | INSPIRATION “GreyCocaine” is based on a intimateexperience in Kelowna, Canada. Objectsthat heal, an object carried around thoughtthe journey of drug abuse and mental reali-

zation. An object that connect with theobstacles we stumble upon in life. The con-struction of the bag is based on Aboriginal

people in Canada in thePre-Columbian Era as well as the journey ofthe earliest fur trading experiences in orderto make handmade objects to subsist and

     heal your own self.

MATERIAL | GreyCocaine is design based on size andnecessity in space. The design follows theconcept by the used of materials. The bodyof the bag is done by vegetable tan leather,

which is a chromium free method basedleather from the cow and does not have

harmful chemicals. The leather is based ona artisanal process that takes advantagefrom the tannic acids naturally found in

plants and vegetables. The flap of the bag isdone by Canadian silver fox fur.

DETAIL | The used of vegetable tan leather gave theopportunity to dye by oil based dye. The

handle is made by purple heart wood, the bag is hand stitch by black wax thread. Allthe materials used are very warm, I wantedto use a intimated method of production

because the object is completely free fromany machinery or dependance. It was a verychallenging thing to breaking free fromdependance. The intention was to u con-nect the concept based on aboriginal

people and their used of method that weretrue to themselves.

CONCEPT | INSPIRATION In its essence, the concept behind the“Bukowski” stool is a reflection on CharlesBukowski poignant pros and honesty. Thestool is based on the abstraction of a cube

but yet unified inspired by architectSantiago Calatrava’s bridges. Bukowski is astool that tells a story of the connection ofdifferent phases that resemble the soulconspired in us, as well as the path anindividual experiences over action to get toan a specific mark. The object itself has

negative and positive spaces but stillconnects together creating a functionalstool that has an asymethical and rhythmicsoul.

MATERIAL EXPERIMENTATION | Bukowski is built and design notonly based on form but on themeticulous smell and texture ofmaterial. The exotic premium

wide movingui, which is amedium to fine grained wood thatoften features mottle or bees

wing figure; Red kidskin leather, which is a soft, thin leather madefrom goatskin; and black leathercord are the components behind

The concept starts to expose a new branchof objects that have a minimal, bold yet

handmade essence in the leather goodobjects. It is a backpack that can be used

outside the house as a sculpturalaccessory. The object is inspired by theexperience of observing, walking, and

bikeing outside of home and exposing yourself to only what is need with anspecific space inside the backpack.“Praha” is inspired by own experience

while traveling alone to Czech Republic.During my exprience, I have theopportunity to experience my ownessence and realize when learning, youonly need the essential. I made the

backpack to show how in such little space you can carry much more than what you
