Why Medical Education The TOG Webinar Series is our most popular continuing education program due to its convenience, CEC’s and exciting, relevant topics. Perhaps the most enticing element is that they are free for TOG customers and archived on the TOG.com Practitioner site. A review of practitioners who attended at least one webinar in 2015 showed an average increase of three pairs of orthotics per month compared to their order history for the previous year. This directly translates into better patient outcomes and a growing revenue stream for your clinic.

Custom Orthotic Therapy and Gait Analysis seminars have gained popularity over the years, as they provide the opportunity for hands-on practice performing biomechanical exams, GaitScanTM assessments and foam casting with our Dr. Ross and Dr. Lustig. Our very own James Canning is also on-site to provide expertise on GaitScanTM interpretation and orthotic ordering, while Dr. Lori Yarrow walks you through insurance documentation and how to best utilize TOG marketing materials. While you may not be situated in a Markham, Vancouver or Calgary, we hope you will make the trip – it will be worth the effort. The average practitioner who attends a TOG Custom Orthotic Therapy and Gait Analysis seminar increases their orthotic orders by five pairs per month compared to their order history for the previous year. By any standards, that is an excellent return on investment!

Not enough can be said about our expert speaker at Medical Compression Therapy seminars, Suzie Kalman. Perhaps the most knowledgeable and experienced speaker on the topic in Canada, Suzie is dynamic, personable and will inspire you to return to your clinic and help hundreds of patients with circulatory challenges. Not only do you get all of the hands-on practice that you need to confidently fit and dispense medical compression hosiery, you also earn a Custom Fitter Certificate, which most Canadian insurance companies require to process claims. This seminar is only offered in Ontario at the moment, but watch for an on-line version of this course in the fall. The confidence and skills gained during this seminar typically result in an increase of $15,000 profit for clinics that attend, which means that more patients are better able to manage their health and you benefit from the added revenue stream within your clinic.

We hope you can join us for our 2016 medical education experience.
