보병 작전병력의 신속한 이동 지원과 인명 방호능력이 강화된 중형전술차량을

독자모델로 개발하고 있다. 이 차량은 작전병력의 신속한 이동을 통한 전투투입이

가능한 병력 수송용과 대형물자 지원용으로 활용 될 것이다.

중형전술차의 개발 컨셉으로는 적의 기선을 제압할 수 있고 강인함과 웅장함,

방탄성능을 향상시키는 사선구조의 실용적인 디자인, 정비성을 향상시키는

캡오버 타입의 캐빈을 채택하였으며, 계열화 전개를 고려한 플랫폼 공용화,

글로벌 경쟁력 확보를 위한 수출전략형 차량 등을 고려하여 특화 개발되었다.

MTVKia Motors has been also developing its unique model of

Medium Tactical Vehicle which greatly improves the support

of quick movement of infantry combat troops and the

protection capability of individual soldiers. The Medium

Tactical Vehicle will be then used for the support of quickly

sending the armed troops into the battlefield and carrying

heavy cargo loads. As the concept of development, Kia

Motors adopts the edge-styled design which dominates

the enemy initially and improves toughness, grandeur

and bullet proof level and uses the cab-over type

cabin to make the maintenance quite easy.

Kia Motors also specifically designs its platform to

be used commonly for the future variation models

even including the export strategy model to secure

the global competitiveness.
