Balkanian Vlachs/Aromanians/Tzintzars Theses for a Somewhat

Different Reading of Balkan and Serb History and Culture In this paper, the author delineates the historical development and contemporaty des-

tiny of Balkan Vlachs/Aromanians/Tzintzars, who have played a significant role in political, economical and cultural life in almost all Balkan countries. A special attention is paid to cur-rent controversies about Vlach identity and status in Balkan countries, including Serbia.
