Introduction The English Language Month Programmed allows pupils to learn E nglish which involves pupils¶ deve lopment in listening, speaking, reading and writing. These skills enable pupils to participate in a wide range of interest. Pupils excitedly learn via competition s, activities and quizzes. 2. Aim Encourage interest in students' English language to enhance educational excellence in schools among students of SK. Ulu Yam Bharu. 3. Objectives The objectives of English Language Month are to enable pupils to : i.expose a wide varieties of English La nguage activities within the school level.. ii.encourage the pupils to use English Language in the most creative a nd interesting ways through competitions .. iii. encourage the pupils to participate in the English La nguage programs through competition and presentation. iv.build confidence in the usage of English Language among pupils. v.encourage the pupils to read and write in English Language. vi.have positive thinking of using English Language in whatever activities done. vii. provide opportunities for pupils to interact, develop a nd improve their communication skills. viii. encourage pupils¶ vocabulary of English Language. ix.give exposure of the language to pupils in formal and informal ways. 4. Target group This programmed is open to all Level 1 and 2 primaries.
