  bhāsvān me bhāsayet tattvaṁ candraś cāhlāda-kṛd-bhavet |  maṅgaḻo maṅgaḻaṁ dadyāt budhaś ca budhatāṁ diśet ||

  May the Sun illuminate the tenets to me, and may the Moon cause oy!  may Mars give the aus"icious, and may Mercury direct me to #isdom$

  gurur me gurutāṁ dadyāt kaviś ca kavitāṁ diśet |  śaniś ca śaṁ "rā"ayatu ketu% ketuṁ aye &r"ayet ||

  May 'u"iter give me #eight (stature)"ull*, and +enus give me #isdom!  and may Saturn cause the recei"t o the good, and etu give victory$

  rāhur me rāhayed rogaṁ grahā% santu kara-grahā% |

  navaṁ navaṁ mamaiśvaryaṁ diśantv ete nava-grahā% ||

  May .ahu remove my illnesses, and the heavenly bodies be git-givers!  may all nine o them give me nine kinds o ne# gits rom the /ord$

  5 Saturn, child o the Sun, you #ho are the bearer o many e#el-like

  good 6ualities7 .emove my undesirables, and do me the desirable! do  not cause me distress$

  harer anugrahārthāya śatr10āṁ nigrahāya ca |  vādirāa-yati-"roktaṁ graha-stotraṁ sadā "a3het ||

  8n order to obtain the grace o 9ari, and or the destruction o   one&s enemies! the graha-stotra o Sri +aadiraaa should be read  al#ays$
