9During my exchange program in the Netherlands I began something really new for me. I start to deal with sculptures, installations. I was fascinated by the diversity of structures and available materials, and also opportunities what appeared in front of me.This experience/work had influenced on me very strongly, and opened me more to the sculpture and art. Now I know that everything is possible.I tried to learn from experiment as much as possible. I was struggling with my own expectations and choices. I had defied difficulties during the work with materials and hard presentation space.Sometimes the process of creation and making was more important than finishing the things/objects. Not once the results were random or completely unintentional, but another time everything was working very well even if the realization was lasting for months.In this book I want to summarize and show my work.

Podczas mojego pobytu w Holandii na wyjęździe erasmus zaczęłamzajmować się działaniami przestrzennymi. Zostałam zafascynowana różnorodnością struktur, dostępnych materiałów i możliwościammi jakie przedemną się pojawiły.Doświadczenie to bardzo na mnie oddziałało i otworzyło mnie na rzeźbę i sztukę. Starałam się wynieść z niego jak najwięcej. Walka z oczekiwaniami, ze złymi wyborami i trudnościami w walce z przestrzenią i materiałami, ale także wiele przyjemności.Czasem sam proces tworzenia, kreacji był ważniejszy niż ukończenie danej rzeczy. Nieraz muszę przyznać, że efekt był przypadkowy, zupełnie niezamierzony, ale za to innym razem bardzo przemyślany, a realizacja jego trwała miesiącami.W tej książeczce chcę podsumować i pokazać moje dokonania.

21Silent disappearanceWe always associate stones with something solid, but in reality some of them are very fragile, brittle and easily turned into dust.With time, erosion changes their form. With memories it is the same.Sometimes they seem to be everlasting and imperturbable but sometimes they are fragile like porcelain. They should be refreshed again and again, so they do not lose their power and value.Sometimes they are coming back with double force, striking , but other times disappearing silently without us even noticing. This is what my video is about – the journey of memories.The location of our memories is important. Different for each of us. In every presentation this work will be created by someone else and therefore vary. Becoming the wwork of another person. Memories (stones) interfer with the space. They do not catch our eyes immediately. They disappear in space. We are full of memories, we live with them, but sometimes they are experienced as a sudden attack and can also fall into nostalgy.

Nieme zanikanieKamienie kojarzą się nam z czymś solidnym z trwałym, ale w rzeczyswistości niektóre z nich są bardzo kruche, łamliwe i łatwo zamienić je w pył. Z czasem podlegają erozji i zmieniają swą formę.Takie same są wspomnienia. Czasem wydają nam się trwałe i niezniszczalne. Ale czasem są kruche tak jakby z porcelany. Należy je polerować, odnawiać, tak by nie straciły swej mocy i uroku.Czasem wracają one z podwójną siła, uderzają z nienacka, za to innym razem zanikają w nas, a my tego nawet nie zauważamy.To właśnie pokazuje w moim video – wędrówke wspomnień.Rozmieszczenie naszych wspomnień (kamieni) jest ważne, dla każdego z nas inne. W każdej z siedniu galerii będzie ono inne. Stworzone przez kogoś innego. Stanie się dziełem innych ludzi.Wspomnienia zakłucają przestrzeń, ale też nie rzucają się od razu w oczy, one bardziej zanikają w przestrzeni. Jesteśmy pełni wspomnień, żyjemy z wnimi, tylko czasem przeżywamy ich nagły atak i wpadamy w nostalgię.

26 They know The stones are part of our world. They surround us.We are moving past them every day. We have learned to not notice them.But we are able to use them for our purposes.Stones know everything about us, about the world.They are witnesses to our lives and behavior.A treasure of reminiscences, desires, gestures and spoken words.They are consistent while the world is changing.They are earth’s eternal audience.With this installation I would like to present this situation.Stones as beautiful objects which are taken out of context from their normal surrounding.Now they are the audience of the world, but also observed.They observe the world and process what is happening on the screen in front of them. Also in the gallery viewers are watching them and the same process is taking place before their eyes.

One wiedząKamienie są częścią naszego świata. Otaczają nas. Przechodzimy koło nich każdego dnia. Nauczyliśmy się ich nie zauważać.Ale potrafimy je wykorzystywać do naszych celów. Kamienie natomiast wiedzą o nas wszystko, o całym świecie.Są świadkami naszego życia, zachowania. Skarbnicą wspomień, pragnień, gestów i wypowiedzianych słów.One po prostu trwają podczas,gdy świat się zmienia.Są naszymi wiecznymi widzami.W mojej istalacji przedstawiam właśnie tą sytuacje.Kamienie jako piękne przedmioty wyrwane z kontekstu z otaczającej je rzeczywistości są widzami nowego świata, ale to one też są obserwowane.Umieszczone w przestrzeni galerii są w środku podwójnego procesu.Obserwują one świat i zmienne procesy na ekranie przed nimi oraz samych widzów galerii, którzy obserwują ich i te same procesy odbywające się przed ich oczami.

31The space reminds us of the crime scene.We come into place and we do not know what happened, we can only guess and analyze all four traces slowly, step by step.It accompanies us feel the mystery, magic and anxiety.In the middle of the room lies a dead body/object. It is the largest and the most visible. The body is dismembered, it is incomplete. Objects that are around him are linked to him. Make impression of the missing elements of the human body-organs.Installation is a game of association. The individual circuit elements on the surface seem random, but actually pose a great body is not plotted closer space.Video tape strips become a lines between the body and its parts. Is the tape contains information about the entire event, or is its cause? Unfortunately we are unable to find out. The tape is destroyed .... What is common with all this black goo that pours out everywhere?In my installation, I play with form, thethe metaphor body, life and death.There is plenty of organic forms, which relate to humanity.

Przestrzeń, przypomina nam scene zbrodni.Przychodzimy na miejsce i nie wiemy co sie stało, możemy się tylko domyślać i powoli analizować wszytkie ślady krok po kroku.Towarzyszy nam uczucie tajemnicy, magii i niepokoju.Na środku pokoju leży martwe ciało/obiekt. Jest to największy i najbardziej widoczne. Ciało to jest rozczłonkowane, jest niepełne. Obiekty, które się dookoła niego znajdują są z nim powiązane. Sprawiają wrażenie brakujących elementów ciała- ludzkich organów. Instalacja to gra w skojarzenia.Poszczególne elementy układu na pozór wyglądają przypadkowo, ale w rzeczywistości stwarzają jeden wielki organizm w bliżej nie kreślonej przestrzeni.Paski taśmy video są przewodami między ciałem a jego częściami. Czy taśma zawiera informacje o całym zdarzeniu, czy też jest jego przyczyną? Niestety nie mamy możliwości się tego dowiedzieć. Taśma jest zniszczona....Co ma wspólnego z tym wszystkim czarna maź, która wszędzie się wylewa?W mojej instalacji bawię się formą, metaforą ciała, życia i śmierci.Jest tutaj pełno organicznych form, które nawiązują do człowieczeństwa.

The project is inspired by the garden design greenhauses.Which is something artificial, unnatural in conjunction with the vegetation. Artificiality is involves the creation of an apparently real environment so that people can watch them. The projections were used slides from trips to the botanical gardens of the 70s.Image becomes pixelated and displayed on a transparent foil, which makesit even more elusive and fragile. It is the attempt to reverse one’s memories.

Projekt Ogród jest zainspirowany wyglądem szklarnii.W której jest coś sztucznego, nienaturalnego w połączeniu z roślinnością. Sztuczność polega na upozorowaniu prawdziwego środowiska by ludzie mogli je oglądać. W projekcji zostały wykorzystane slajdy z wycieczek z ogrodów botanicznych z lat 70tych. Obraz staje sie rozpikselowany i wyświetlany na przeźroczystej foli, co sprawia, że jest on jeszcze bardziej ulotny. Jest to próba odwzorowania czyichś wspomnień.

Cosmos project was a fun with that space, projection and image of another world.Unreal from the reality, but having source in the schematic way of human thinking. Creating something surreal in our everyday life.

Projekt Kosmos był zabawaą z daną przestrzenią, projekcją i wyobrażeniem innego świata. Czegoś odrealnionego od rzeczywistości, a jednak zaczerpnietego ze scheamtów myślowych człowieka. Stworzenie czegoś surrealistycznego w naszej codzienności.

49Silver River Project, was an experiment with light and its reflection from the image and the colored foil. The idea was that room should have the impression that inside is the water.But during the implementation of the idea, it turned out that the materials which I had are not appropriate. Despite this I formed two videos. One about the movement of the foil, and the other just with the light reflex. Both films create an abstract image. Through the projection of colored light on the wavy foil, I get a rainbow effect on the wall, which was moving with the movement of the foil. Depend of the movement the foil image can change smoothly and dynamically. Actually I noticed that I prefer the subtle and slow changes. I noticed that a lot can change in a room the same light or color.

Projekt Srebrna Rzeka, był eksperymentem ze światłem i jego refleksem barwnym z folią. Pomieszczenie miało sprawiać wrażenie, że jest w nim wodą.Ale podczas realizacji pomysłu, okazało się że posiadane przezemnie materiały są nie odpowiednie.Pomimo tego powstały dwa filmy video. Jeden o samym ruchu folii, a drugi o samym refleksie świetlnym. Oba filmy tworzą abstrakcyjny wizerunek.Poprzez projekcje kolorowego światła na falującej folii uzyskałam efekt teczy na ścianie, która poruszała się wraz z ruchem folii.Refleks mógł się zmieniać płynnie lub bardzo dynamicznie.Zauważyłam, że sama wole wolne i subtelne zmiany kształów.

The stones are now look so nice, innocent and cute their heaviness and the severity is hidden. They are not raw anymore but in disguise. Their betrayal was magnified.

Kamienie zostały odmienione. Są teraz miłe, niewinne, ich cieżkość i surowość jest ukryta. Ich zdradzieckość została spotęgowana.

61Body like a larva.Presentation of the vegetation.State between life and death. Suspension in which we live.Body with no limbs and head, huddled, as if drowning in powder from calamus plant, which resembles the color and structure of hair, fur animal.Maybe confession sheds in the spring?Surrounded by its own eggs.Stagnation.Image / Setting is overcrowded. On one hand, the structure seems to usa slimy, disgusting , on the other cans of the colors are warm and friendly.

Ciało niczym larwa. Prezentacja wegetacji.Stan pomiędzy życiem, a śmiercią. Zawieszenie w jakim żyjemy.Ciało bez kończyn i głowy, skulone, jakby tonęło w puchu tataraków, które kolorem i strukturą przypomina włosy, futro zwierzęcia.Może zwierzęcie linieje na wiosnę?Otoczone własnymi jajeczkami.Stagnacja.Obraz/ Otoczenie jest przepełnione. Z jednej strony struktura wydaje nam się obleśna, odrażająca, z drugiej puszek kolory są ciepłe, przyjazne.

67The object was to remind the body lying curled up in a fetal position.Made in layers, covered with hair and a transparent outer skin.As if suspended in a spider’s web.Loading in torment, and waiting for its holder.Overgrown forgotten.

Obiekt miał przypominać leżące skulone ciało w pozycji embrionalnej.Wykonane warstwowo, pokryte włosami i transparentną mazią.Jakby zawieszone w pajęczej sieci.Trwa w mękach i czeka na swojego oprawce.Zarosłe zapomniane.
