Adnawdd addysgu yw Joio dan 5 ar gyfer plant dan 5 mlwydd oed. Saif pob uned ar ei phen ei hun, ond awgrymir y dylid addysgu ‘Uned – Cyfarchion’ ac ‘Uned – Pwy wyt ti?’ yn gyntaf.

Joio dan 5 – Enjoying under 5 – is a teaching resource pack aimed at children under 5. Each unit (uned) is designed to be taught as an entity and in isolation. However, it is suggested that ‘Uned – Cyfarchion’ and ‘Uned – Pwy wyt ti?’ be taught first.

1. Sing: Beth sy yn y bocs? Open the box. There are no characters and the box is empty! Ask: Ble mae Beni? Ble mae Tedi? and Ble mae Doli?

Hide the characters in turn around the classroom and play Hide and Seek. When the children have found each character they say Dyma Beni. Dyma Tedi and Dyma Doli. 2. Read: Ble mae Tedi?

3. Drama activity: wearing the masks or laminated characters (on headbands), children walk around the hall to the beat of the drum. Teacher says Stopiwch! and asks Ble mae Beni? Children wearing the Beni mask shout Dyma fi! Repeat this using the other character names. 4. Sing: Ble mae Beni?

5. Read: Ble mae’r Ffrindiau?

Children play hide and seek looking for characters in the classroom. Sand Activity Find salt dough characters in the sand and ask Ble mae…? (Directed play)

Child responds appropriately and posts card in correct box. Track board game Throw dice asking: ‘Sut wyt ti?’.
