留学⽣の⽣活は⼤学のキャンパス内、あるいは学⽣寮や研究室内だけで完結するものではありま

せん。充実した留学⽣活を送るには、⼤学での⽣活はもとより、⽇本･徳島の⽂化や習慣に触れ、

地域の⽅々との⽇常的な交流が⽋かせません。加えて、専⾨の研究を集中して⾏うためには、⽣活

⾯での精神的な安定も重要であり、⽇本語習得は必要不可⽋です。また、留学⽣が出⾝国に帰った

ときに「⽇本」「徳島」を理解し将来の「架け橋の⼈材」となるため、また⽇本で就職・定住するた

めにも、⽇本語習得や⽇本⽂化理解は⼤切です。是⾮、ご担当や周りの留学⽣に⽇本語クラスの履

修をお勧めください。

また、語学マイレージプログラムの開始に合わせて、⾮英語圏からの外国⼈留学⽣を対象に、「留

学⽣のための英語コース」を開講しています。週２回の実践的な英語コースです。英語が苦⼿だ、

語学マイレージのポイントが⼼配だ、という学⽣にお勧めください。

学習以外でも留学⽣に関することは、⾼等教育研究センター教員、国際課職員にお尋ねください。
