To prepare for the trip, we will hold about 6 meetings running about an hour and a half. Please indicate
when is best for you to have these meetings. Monday Thursday meetings would be held in the
evening, Friday Sunday meetings would be held in the afternoon. While we will not meet multiple
times per week, please select at least 3 days so we can determine which day is best for the group.
MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY
SATURDAY SUNDAY
How did you come to faith in Christ?
Is there anything else you would like to say?
Preparing spiritually and logistically for the trip will involve some careful work, planning and prayer.
The more people who help out, the easier it will be. If you are interested to learn more about ways you
may be called to contribute, the descriptions below will help you to learn about each role.
Worship Team: Brief times of worship will help us to focus and begin our meetings (our pre-trip
meetings and also in Philly).
Logistical Preparation: No group trip to another city comes without due complication. We'll need to
arrange transportation, make copies for meetings, collect forms, send emails, etc. If you enjoy
organizing, this may be for you.
Preparation Meeting Speakers: Each preparation meeting will likely involve a speaker to discuss some
aspect of missions, our work, or spiritual preparation. If you feel you may be called to contribute in this
area, then consider making yourself available.
Finance: God calls us to be careful stewards of his resources. As we raise support to help cover our
costs, we will need somebody to handle accounting. It will be very helpful (necessary) to have a small

number of dedicated people in this important area.
Prayer: While all should be in prayer about the trip prior to departure, some may feel specifically called
to pray for the trip. This could take shape as a prayer d-list, prayer meetings, or anything else you
would like to engage in.
Sub-team Leader: Depending on group size, it may be helpful to form sub-teams within the larger team
to help with preparation and work while we are on-site. Sub-team leaders would help to coordinate thework and preparation of their group. This could include opportunities such as facilitating a discussion
group during a preparation meeting, or helping to keep the team organized while we are on the trip. It
will also be a good chance to get to know the specific people in a sub-team, praying for them and
encouraging them to grow throughout the trip.
Please indicate below if you are interested to support the trip in any of the above described ways.
Please note that this is not a commitment to unlimited work, but rather an expression of interest.
