    ABORTION -- LIBERAL

I am a libertarian over the issue of abortion

I feel as though that women have the right to choose what to do with theirown body.

A fetus is not a human life, so it does not have the separate individualrights a humanwould have

    GUN CONTROL -- CONSERVATIVE

I believe that people have the right to bear arms if they choose so. In the

Second Amendment, it states, the right of the people to keep andbear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Taking guns out of the hands of good citizens only puts them in moredanger, and allows a greater advantage for those of criminals.

Although, I do believe in gun control amongst those of heavy militaryweapons, increased gun control laws will not stop or lower crime rates

among gangs or criminal groups. Enforcing heavier gun control lawswill not prevent criminals from getting them; if criminals wants a gun, they will get it.

    DEATH PENALTY -- CONSERVATIVE

I believe it is just to keep the death penalty if the person whom committed

the crime(s) deserves such a cause. If this criminal has killed and has not chance of regaining a secondchance, why waste government money by putting him or her in prison, where more lives (innocent or not) are at risk of dying from him or her inprison gang violence.

Death penalty is the punishment that fits the crime of the murder.

    ENVIRONMENT -- CONSERVATIVE

I do not believe in government involvement in the energy and globalwarming issues.

The search for new ways to reduce carbon dioxide coincides with thereduction of burning fossil fuel and drilling for oil, which in turn calls forthe increase of wind power, solar energy and so on.

However, these new energy inputs do not nearly have as much energyefficiency as the traditional energy inputs. Therefore, they will causeenergy prices to increase, and may indirectly result in inflation(Obamas new energy laws may have contributed to why prices for

    goods now-a-days are so high).

    IMMIGRATION CONSERVATIVE

I do support legal immigration, but I DO NOT support illegal immigration.

I believe that aliens do not deserve the rights that we, U.S. citizens, havebeen granted. If aliens do hope to enter the U.S. they should enterlegally.

Border control should be enforced more heavily, as I believe walls andbarriers should be built. Tougher penalties should be put down on thoseillegal immigrants who attempt to cross the border, as well as their

acquaintances who may have tried to help them cross.

    WELFARE -- CONSERVATIVE

Although I believe in welfare for those who are in dire need, I do not believe

in long-term welfare. People should be self-reliant and not rely ongovernment (tax-payer money) aid to keep them stable. People whowork hard in life will be more secure in whatever they do, and if theychoose to slack, we, the employed tax-paying citizens, should not haveto pay for and support those who have chosen to slack. Opportunities

should be given to those who need them in order to make it possible forthem to become self-reliant America is a land full of opportunity.

    FOREIGN POLICY -- LIBERAL

Terrorism is a result of arrogant and ignorant foreign policy.

I believe that, rather than attacking terrorism, good diplomacy is the bestway to deal with terrorism.

The more we attack and harassthe terrorists, the more tension between thetwo groups accumulate, causing more back and forth fighting.

Captured terrorists should be handled by law enforcement and tried incivilian courts.

    GOVERNMENT SPENDING/TAXES -- CONSERVATIVE

I believe in lower taxes and less government spending.

Lower taxes create more incentive for people to work, save, invest andengage in entrepreneurial endeavors.

Money is better spent by those who earn it, rather than the government.

A smaller government is better. Allowing government to create and promotejobs creates a sense of laziness in society. Furthermore, people willbegin to think government aid is a standard to society, which meanspeople will always lean on government, taking away the hard-earnedmoney of tax-payers.

    HOMELAND SECURITY -- MODERATE

I am a moderate in this case because I understand and agree or disagree

with both sides of the issue.I disagree with the acceptance of profiling. Profiling should be random and

to suspects of suspicion based upon certain criteria, not on ethnicity orstereotypes.

Although, I understand where certain people consider the Patriotic Act tobe a government invasion of their privacy, if they are not terrorists, or

doing anything illegal, they should not be worried with what they sayover the phone or send over e-mail.

People deserve to have their freedoms protected, but they also need tounderstand that the government needs to protect the freedom andsafety of the whole country.

    SAME-SEX MARRIAGE --

I am a conservative when it comes to same-sex marriages. I believe

marriage is love between one man and one woman. It goes against many moral views of people, as well as many religious

beliefs of Christians, Jews, Muslims and other religions.

If we allow same-sex marriages, it is most likely many religious groups willlook down, and slack on benefits to those who are in a homosexualmarriage.

The question then revolves around government. Will they then step in tohelp aid these same-marriage couples and ask religious sects to givethe same benefits that a man-woman marriage receive? This arisesanother question that many people also have an issue with: too muchgovernment involvement?

    CANDIDATE: ROMNEY

By looking at the information I have gathered, my beliefs

connect more with Romney than with Obama. I connectwith Romney on the issue of 1) gun control, because we

both believe that it is unnecessary to add and increase the

enforcement of gun control. In addition, we both are

conservative with the issues regarding the 2) death penalty,

as we both say that it is just if the punishment fits the crime.

I also agree with Romney on the topics of 3) immigrationand 4) same-sex marriage. I do not agree with the more

liberal views of immigration laws, as well as the liberal

views of same-sex marriages. I think those laws, regarding

both issues should stay the same and keep the rules and

traditions. Similar to Romney, I agree with his view on the 5)

environment and government spending, and believe thatthere should be cuts in such government spending and

involvement. Last, I agree with Romney on the topic of 6)

welfare, and take away such government spending and put

it back on the states and individual, giving them more

    flexibility.
