RESPONSIBILITY1. To lead, direct and perform multiphase simulation studies, based on the available well fluid composition or data from oil filed with similar characteristics to support projects. 2. To interact with internal production chemistry personnel in order to check the required fluid characteriszations, chemical tratment recommendations, including paraffin and hydrate inhibitors and incorporate chemicals and operational constraints within the models. 3. To interact with Reservoir specialist in order to contribute to the integrated flow assurance studies, incorporating lifetime reservoir and network simulations. 4. For each feasible development scheme, to deliver steady-state and dynamic sumulations of the multiphase flowlines and trunk-lines in the field area and from the field to shore. Studies to include full consideration of all flow assurance issues and input to operational requirements. 5. To create and keep updated, the design premises/design basis, along the project with assumptions and results of the flow assurance studies, therby contributing to assurance of technical integrity of future facilities6. To produce equipment lists, including preliminary sizing of major equipment items ( including slug-catchers) and pipelines for each development scheme simulated, 7. To contribute to a data containing size, weight, cost and delivery time of major equipment associated with multiphase systems. 8. To lead and direct external contractor studies related to multiphase simulation9. To contribute to the generation of new technologies by originating and leading R&D projects and Innovative application projects in the discipline of Flow assurance.

7. Interface EngineerPURPOSETo Control the flow of technical data across one or more project work package / contractor interfaces, to ensure a consistent design basis and data set, and thereby assure overall design consistency and integrity.

RESPONSIBILITY1. To ensure that inerfaces are formally closed and approved by all parties before the design is frozen2.
