LIZA, THE FOX FAIRY triumphes in Porto Károly Ujj Mészáros’s romantic comedy LIZA, THE FOX FAIRY has been awarded as Best Film at the 35th Fantasporto – Oporto International Filmfestival. In addition to the main prize, the film has received the Special Effects Award. Ujj Mészáros is now sharing the list with previous awarded filmmakers such as Alejandro González Iñarritu, Guillermo del Toro, Danny Boyle, David Fincher, Luc Besson and David Cronenberg. The romantic comedy starring Mónika Balsai, Szabolcs Bede-Fazekas and David Sakurai showcases close to 400 digital effects, made by CGI supervisor Miklós Nagy. „A COMPANY likes to congratulate Károly Ujj Mészáros and the producer István Major to this great achievement. The film premiered in Hungarian cinemas on February 19th 2015. After its international premier in Porto, the film will continue its festival tour in Osaka and Argentina.
