Praise Godfor Summer 2011!
Summer 2011 was incredibly great! Thanks to everyone that was a part of what Jesus did at Riverside. We spent our summer learning about and experiencing what it means to be Restored. Every Monday we were reminded about how we truly need God to Restore Us. Tuesday was spent living a life Restored to God, and then on Wednesdays we learned God can make us Restored to Self; restored to who God created us to be. Living for eternal things that will last, was our focus on Thursday (Restored for Eternity). Finally , Friday we asked God to show us what it means to be Restored to Community and live out our faith and use our gifts for the benefit of others. Our theme verse for the whole summer came from Psalm 80:3, “Restore us, O God; make your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.” There is so much hope for us! We can be Restored! We can be saved! Jesus can do great things in our lives. So many of us experienced this hope and restoration in our lives this summer and we hope that is something that continues for us throughout the rest of our lives! We would love to have you come to camp for the tremendous Riverside experience of a Fall Recharge and don’t forget that Summer 2012 is right around the corner! We hope to play, laugh and grow with you again soon!
