    Viewing SSA Warehouse Management 4000 Reports

    Viewing SSA WarehouseManagement 4000Reports

    The Reports module allows you to produce the necessary reports for day-to-daywarehouse operations. This module includes numerous standard reports that you cansimply run and print. Users can also filter, sort, print, and save reports.

    Any modifications or additions to reports or to the Reports applet requires a strongknowledge of PowerBuilder (the development tool used for Reports).

    Viewing Reports1. Navigate to Reports Reports View Report . The View Report window

    displays.2. To run a particular type of report, select it from the Category list. Enter any

    other information about the report in the appropriate fields.

    3. Right-click and select Apply Search . The List tab displays.

    4. Right-click the report and then select Run Report . A dialog box appears for the report selected. (The fields in this dialog box vary according to whichreport was selected).

    To view a report form without any data before running it, right-clickthe report and then select View Blank Report .

    Fill in the appropriate fields. (Make sure that start and end dates arefilled in.)

    5. Click OK. SSA Warehouse Management 4000 displays the report on theResults tab.

    Report Results Window

    Note

    To move up, down, left, or right in the report, use the scroll bars thataccompany large reports. To view entire pages of the report, access thePrint Preview screen and press the Page Up or Page Down key.

    Report Changes

    To make changes to the report before printing it, right-click and select one of thefollowing:

    Filter

    Allows you to reduce the number of records in the report by specifying the records tobe included.

    Reports Filter Window

    Sort

    Allows you to sort data by dragging and dropping each expression. Many reports arepre-sorted and pre-grouped in a logical manner. Changes to the sorting and groupingscan have unexpected results.

    To print the report, click the Print icon or right-click and select Print.

    Report Category

    Report Category

    The standard reports shipped with SSA Warehouse Management 4000 are dividedinto several report categories , such as Inventory Reports, Purchase Order Reports,and Administrative Reports. When searching for an existing report or creating a newreport, you can choose one of these categories from a list. You also have the option of creating a new report category.

    Creating a Report Category1. Navigate to Reports Reports Maintain Category . The Report

    Category window displays.2. Right-click and select Add New Rec ord . The Report Category: (New) window

    displays.

    3. Type a unique code to identify the category in the Category ID field.

    4. Type the name of the category to appear in the list in the Category field.

    5. Right-click and select Save .

    Registering a Report DefinitionSSA Warehouse Management 4000 allows you to register reports that were created

    for the facility.

    Note

    Before attempting to create a new report definition, contact the SSAGlobal Technologies, Inc., installer for help in generating the DataWindow. ADataWindow is a PowerBuilder object used for reporting and data entryscreens. PowerBuilder is the language development environment used todevelop SSA Warehouse Management 4000. You can register a reportdefinition that does not have a DataWindow, but the report cannot be run.

    Creating Report Definitions1. Navigate to Reports Reports Maintain Report . The Report window

    displays.

    2. Right-click and select Add New Rec ord . The Report: (New) window displays.

    3. Type a unique code to identify the new report in the Report ID field.

    4. Select the type of report from the Category list.

    5. Type the name of the report in the Title field.

    6. Select the name of the DataWindow for this report from the DataWindow drop-down list.

    Note

    An SSA Global Technologies, Inc., installer has to create the DataWindowbefore a new report can be created.

    7. In the Report Parameters area, define the data in which you can search for records to be included in the report:

    1) Type the name of the label for the first field in the Label field.

    2) Enter the type of data to be displayed in the field in the Datatype field.

    3) If the field requires a default value, type the value in the Default field.

    4) Enter the field's behavior in the Style field.

    5) Indicate whether the field should be visible when the report is run, byentering Y or N in the Visible field.

    8. To add additional fields to the report parameters, right-click the Detail List,select Add , and then repeat Step 7.

    9. Right-click and select Save .

    The following table provides a list of all reports within the SSA WarehouseManagement 4000 Reports Module.

    Provides details about adjustment tickets,including Storer, Commodity, Adjustment ReasonCode and Quantity. This report is sorted by

    Adjustment Ticket Number.

    Provides a summary of adjusted detailed lines,including Commodity, Location, User ID and

    Adjusted Value.

    Provides adjustments details for a selectedCommodity, including Storer, Commodity,

    Adjustment Reason Code and Quantity. Thisreport is sorted by Storer and Commodity.

    ADM01 Stor er Lis t Provides a list of mailing and billing addresses for

    selected Storers. ADM02 Product Li st Provides a list of Commodities in the warehouse,

    including Commodity description, Pack key andZone.

    ADM03 Pick Lo cati on Provides a list of pick locations in the warehouse,including the setup details for the location, suchas Route Sequence, Area, Flags settings, and soon.

    ADM04 Uni t of Measures/Pack Li st

    Provides a detailed listing of Pack code setupparameters, including UOM, Qty, Length, Width,TI, and HI.

    Provides a list of all Appointment activity basedon selection parameters.

    Provides a list of equipment associated with thescheduled appointment.

    ASN01 Receipt Summ ary Provides a summary of receipt information byCommodity for all ASN receipts. The total quantityreceived by Commodity is displayed, sorted by

    receipt record. ASN02 Receipt Report Captures receipt and associated Purchase Order

    information, where the quantity received againstan ASN is greater than zero.

    ASN03 Receipt Detail Provides a detailed view of receipts made per line. Displays the quantity received per line andthe details associated with that receipt (MovableUnit, Location, and so on).

    ASN04 ReceiptDiscrepancySummary

    Provides a summary view of receiptdiscrepancies, where the quantity expected is notequal to the quantity received and the quantityreceived is greater than zero.

    ASN05 Receip tDiscrepancy

    Provides a summary view of receiptdiscrepancies by Commodity where the quantityexpected is not equal to the quantity received andthe quantity received is greater than zero.

    ASN06 Receip tDiscrepancy Detail

    Provides a detailed view of receipt discrepancieswhere the quantity expected is not equal to thequantity received, and the quantity received isgreater than zero. The details displayed includePack, Location, and ID.

    BIL01 Invoice Displays invoice information for an order or groupof orders. This report can be generated from theShipment Order window or the Wave window.

    INV01 Current StockDetail-by Product

    Displays system inventory balances (on-hand,allocated, etc.) for all locations for a givenCommodity.

    INV02 Current StockDetail-by Location

    Displays system inventory balances (on-hand,allocated, etc.) for all Commodities for a givenlocation(s).

    INV03 Current StockSummary

    Displays the total system inventory for givenCommodities. The report is sorted by Storer andCommodity.

    INV04 Stock Movement byCommodity

    Provides details of system activity against aCommodity for a designated period. Thetransaction types associated with this activity arealso displayed.

    INV05 High-Low Inventory Displays the high and low levels of inventory for alisting of Commodities in a specified date range.

    INV06 Empty Locatio nReport

    Provides a listing of all locations that are notbeing used.

    INV07 Aging Report Displays expiration dates for Commodities by lotnumber.

    Displays products that are due to expire within agiven number of days from the system date.

    INV09 MultipleCommodities inLocation Report

    Displays locations containing multipleCommodities. The report is sorted by location,then by Commodities in that location.

    INV10 Multiple Locatio ns Ass ig ned toCommodity Report

    Displays all Commodities that have beenassigned to multiple locations. The report issorted by Commodity and then location.

    LBR01 Associate Status Displays the current status of associates as either active or inactive. This report is sorted by group,user ID, First Name, Last Name, Status, or TimeIn.

    LBR02 Open Planned Ass ig nment s

    Displays all planned assignments that have notbeen completed. This report is sorted by

    Assignment Status, Wave Key, Order Number,Route, Stop, or Assignment Number.

    LBR03 Completed Activit ySummary

    Displays summary information for completed workfor each associate within a given date range. Thisreport is sorted by Group, User ID, First Name,Last Name, Activity Type, or Start and End dates.

    LD01 Daily LoadSchedule

    Provides a list of all loads scheduled for the day.

    LD02 Move Task Audit Displays the details of Move activities recorded inthe system. From and To details for bothlocation and ID display.

    LD03 Tote ManifestReport

    Provides a list of detailed tote information.

    LD06 Load Report Provides a list of loads that have been scheduledto ship. This report can be run through theReports module or the Load Planning Screen.

    LD08 Load Summary Displays summary information, sorted by door and stop, of the orders associated with a givenload.

    LD09 Pallet RecapSummary

    Displays summary information, sorted by door and stop, of the orders and pallets associatedwith a given load.

    LD10 Pallet Recap Detail Displays detailed information for the pallets andnested IDs associated with a given load. Thisreport is sorted by door and stop.

    ORD01 Order Activi ty(Line)

    Displays a graphical view of the number of casesprocessed, orders received, and picks processedfor a given time period.

    PHY01 Missi ng Tags Provides a list of tag numbers that were missingduring physical inventory.

    PHY02 Physi cal Tags Outof Range

    Physical inventory tags that are out of the system-assigned range.

    Provides a listing of all Storers Commodities andtheir associated locations.

    PHY12 Posted Record s Provides details associated with successfullyposted records from the physical count.

    PO01 Purchase Order Audi t Lis t

    Provides a listing of system activity againstspecified purchase orders for a given time frame.

    PO02 Purchase Order Discrepancy

    Identifies differences between ordered andreceived quantities per purchase order line.

    PRO01 Re-order Forecas t Displays information about the current inventorysituation for a given Commodity (on-hand and on-order) and the associated reorder point for thatCommodity.

    PRO02 Cycle Coun t Provides system information (On-Hand, Allocated, and Available Inventory) for Commodities scheduled for Cycle Counts.

    RECVAPPT Receiving Appo in tments

    A listing of appointments that have been createdfor receiving activity.

    RTO01 Replenishment TopOff

    Displays quantities that need to be replenished toreturn case pick locations to their maximumquantity. The report is sorted by zone.

    SHIPAPPT Shipping Appo in tments

    A listing of appointments that have been createdfor shipping activity.

    SHP05 Consoli dated PickTicket

    Combines Commodities from various orders intoa single pick ticket. Commodities to be pickedfrom the same location are grouped together.

    SHP06 Pick Coun t Provides a summary of completed pick tasksincluding order #, order date, and total number of picks.

    TMM04 Labor SummaryReport

    Provides a summary listing of completed tasks byuser and times associated with each task.

    TMM04 Labor SummaryReport

    Provides a summary listing of completed tasks byuser and times associated with each task.

    TMM05 Labor Detail Report Labor Productivity Report that displays the TaskManager Users total time and average time per each individual task.

    TMM05 Labor Detail Report Provides a detail listing of completed tasks byuser and times associated with each task.

    TRN01 Transfer Audit Provides both From and To details associatedwith a transfer recorded in the system.Commodity, Storer, Quantity, and Lot informationare some of the details that are included.

    Provides a list of all Flowthru Orders in Shipped

    status.XDK03 Flowthr u Shipment

    Report (Detail)Provides a list of all Flowthru Orders in Shippedstatus at the Commodity level.

    XDK04 Flow Audit Report Report to audit Commodities on a PurchaseOrder tied to a Flowthru Order.

    XDK05 Transship Report Listing of Transship records broken down bycustomer. Displays details such as the Container ID and status for each Transship #.

    Report that gives a breakdown of lanes assignedto a specific Customer/Storer.

    XDK07 Drop ID Contents Displays a listing of Case IDs associated with theselected Drop ID.

    XDK08 TransshipReceiving Report

    Listing of Transship receipts broken down bycustomer. Displays details such as the Container ID and status for each Transship #.

    XDK09 Lane ContentsReport

    Provides a listing of any ID (generated from either a Flowthru or Transship record) associated to aparticular lane.
