With the festive season just a few weeks away, I would like to wish everyone
a most wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
What better way to enjoy the countdown to 2014 in grand style than
with Elisa Chan who will host our special evening replete with exciting games
and lucky draws. Throughout the season, spread the love and good cheer
at the Club, the perfect venue for your family and loved ones to celebrate
the joyful festivities. Feel the Christmas spirit in the air with our selection
of family-friendly activities, gift ideas and seasonal menus to provide a
memorable touch to the holiday season.
What is more, the colourful celebrations at the Club continue well
into 2014. To welcome the Year of the Horse, spectacular lion dances will
highlight the Chinese New Year festivities on top of the homemade puddings
and festive menus we have prepared especially for you.
As a special treat for our romantics at heart, the Dynasty Steak House
sets the ideal Valentine’s Day mood featuring a five-course candlelight
dinner complete with musical accompaniment by a trio for Members to
enjoy the occasion with their special someone. The enchanting evening will
certainly make our Members fall in love even more with the restaurant’s
excellent service and sumptuous food.

Grand welcome to 2014!It will be a celebration for the ages as the Dynasty Club has once again set the
stage for an unforgettable countdown to the new year. In response to Members’
requests, our New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner will be headlined by renowned singer
Elisa Chan who will be hosting the evening’s festivities and performing to the
delight of the audience. This marks the third time Elisa will be joining us at our
always exciting countdown to ring in a prosperous new year ahead for everyone.
Hot on the heels of last year’s Limbo Rock competition that created an
enjoyable atmosphere among our Members, this year we have invited a Belly
Dance instructor to perform scintillating routines on stage. Members can join
in the fun by showcasing the same belly dance moves and stand a chance
to be crowned the Belly Queen or Belly King during the prize presentation.
Members can also try their luck at the Casino Fun Games and the Grand
Lucky Draw, while enjoying entertaining music from a live band and singer
performance at the event.
As an added treat, our restaurants will be offering a variety of cuisines
to choose from including a six-course Western dinner at Dynasty Steak
House, or a six-course festive Chinese dinner at Imperial City and Dynasty
Café to celebrate a prosperous new year with your loved ones.

人，極受會員歡迎。有見及此，本會第三次邀
請陳潔靈小姐在除夕晚宴獻唱金曲，跟各位歡
度除夕夜，並與大家一起跨年倒數，迎接2014
年來臨。
本會去年舉辦蓮步舞比賽，會員都全情投
入，盡興而歸。今年本會邀請了肚皮舞導師，
在當晚即席示範婀娜多姿的舞步，會員可湊湊
熱鬧，模仿導師的舞姿，更有機會奪得肚皮舞
王或肚皮舞后的獎項，不容錯過。當晚其他豐
富節目包括極受歡迎的賭場遊戲、現場樂隊歌
手表演及幸運大抽獎等，讓大家盡情玩樂。
除此以外，三間餐廳將會供應不同美
食，Dynasty Steak House提供西式六道菜晚
餐，而御苑及皇朝館則安排中式六道菜晚餐，

As with previous Chinese New Years, the Imperial City has
prepared authentic Chinese New Year puddings especially
for Members to relish. Choose from your favourites
such as the Turnip Pudding with Preserved Meat, Red
Date Pudding, Sweetened Glutinous Pudding and Water
Chestnut and Osmanthus Blossom Pudding. This year, the
Club is introducing the Lucky Pudding Gift Set containing
four different puddings to bring out a wonderful variety of
fantastic flavours. What would be better than this special
gift for your beloved ones during the festival?
Last year, some Members were unable to order
Chinese New Year Puddings due to overwhelming demand.
This year, we will commence the ordering service earlier,
so please complete the attached order form as soon as
possible and fax to 2829 7966 or submit to Reception. For
any enquiries, please call Imperial City at 2829 7980.
For any minimum order of five puddings or two Lucky
Pudding Gift sets on or before 31 December 2013, you will
be entitled to one bottle of selected house wine.

棗皇糕、椰汁年糕及桂花馬蹄糕外，今年更首度推出四喜臨門年糕禮
盒，把四款不同賀年糕點配以精心設計禮盒，供各位會員訂購，饋贈

由於往年訂購賀年糕點反應熱烈，部份會員未能訂購。本會今

Festive treats for all
The Year of the Horse is just around the corner, and the Club has prepared the perfect
gift idea exclusively for Members. To celebrate the occasion in grand style, our
generously filled Chinese New Year Hampers are now available for ordering.
Please refer to the enclosed form for more details. For enquiries and purchase,
please contact the Club at 2824 1122.
Christmas banquet packages
Our festive packages, specially prepared to celebrate the Yuletide
season, include a choice of buffet or set menus featuring traditional
Christmas dishes. Members can choose between a lunch package
from $480 per person inclusive of a two-hour beverage package,
or alternatively, they can select the dinner package from $620 per
person that comes with a three-hour beverage package.
To spread the good cheer even more, a host of complimentary
extras will be provided including fresh floral arrangements and party
favours for each banquet table. Each table reserved will also receive
a free parking voucher (two hours of free parking for lunch and three
hours for dinner). For reservations of 80 persons or more, we will
provide a complimentary 8’ X 15’ red backdrop with golden wording in
English or Chinese.
Year End & Spring Dinner packages
Toast to a successful close to 2013 and herald the coming of spring in
grand style with our exquisite Year End and Spring Dinner packages
that are certain to bring out the best in both occasions. Select your
favourite delicacies with our tailor-made Chinese menus from $6,688
per table of 10 to 12 persons, complete with three hours of unlimited
serving of soft drinks, chilled orange juice and house beer. Other
privileges you can enjoy are complimentary Chinese tea, fresh flower
arrangements and a three-hour free parking voucher for each banquet
table, and an exclusive house wine offer of $128 per bottle.
Should you reserve eight tables or more, you are entitled to a
complimentary 8’ X 15’ red backdrop with golden wording in English or
Chinese, free use of LCD projector with screen, and non-alcoholic fruit
punch during the pre-dinner period. As a special treat, a $500 dining
coupon awaits the winner of a raffle for use at the Club’s designated
restaurant.

品嚐兩間著名酒莊的精緻佳釀Château Pichon-Longueville Baron和Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de
Lalande由起源於十七世紀末的Pichon酒莊分拆出來，莊主Baron Joseph過世後，莊園
需依照當時新的拿破崙法典規定平均分配給他的子女，其中兒子Raoul名下酒莊，成為後
來的Château Pichon-Longueville Baron；餘下的部份就由數名女兒繼承，成為Château
Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande。
Raoul接管酒莊後悉心經營，並獲得二級酒莊的稱號。但在1933年，由於無人繼承，酒
莊售予Bouteillier家族，從此Pichon家族退出Château Pichon-Longueville Baron酒莊的
歷史舞台。在1987年酒莊再度易手，由Jean Michel Cazes和AXA公司接管，他們對莊園進
行大量投資，令酒莊近十年來釀製出優質的葡萄酒。
我們邀請Château Pichon-Longueville Baron亞洲區品牌大使Corinne Michot小姐
蒞臨本會主持是次酒宴，她精心挑選Château Pichon-Longueville Baron的高評分年份

IngredientsDough:
Flour 1.1kg
Oil 600ml
Water 600ml
Filling:
White sesame 200g
Peanuts 500g
Grated coconut 400g
Castor sugar 625g
MethodFilling:
1. Stir-fry the white sesame until golden-brown.
2. Deep-fry the peanuts and remove the skin. Ground
the peanuts once they have cooled.
3. Mix the sesame, ground peanuts, castor sugar and
grated coconut together and set aside for later use.
Crunchy Crescent:
1. Using a sieve, sift the flour into a container.
2. Mix the oil and water in another container, then
gradually add the sifted flour to form the dough.
3. Sprinkle a small amount of flour on the table for
the dough to be placed on. Flatten the dough using
a rolling pin, then use a round cutter to cut the
dough into small round pieces.
4. Place a suitable amount of filling at the centre of
the dough pieces. Fold them in half and press on
the edges to seal.
5. Heat the pan and deep-fry the crescents until medium
golden-brown. Remove the crescents and place them
on paper towels to drain and cool.

白芝麻 200克
花生 500克
椰絲糠 400克
白砂糖 625克
做法餡料製作步驟：
1. 先將白芝麻炒香至金黃色。
2. 花生炸熟後去皮，放涼後壓碎。
3. 把芝麻、花生碎與白砂糖及椰絲糠拌勻備用
油角製作步驟：
1. 將麵粉預先過篩後，然後放入大器皿內。
2. 將生油及水混和，把麵粉慢慢分次加入拌勻，搓成軟
滑粉糰。
3. 在桌上灑上少許乾麵粉，用木棍將麵皮輾薄，用圓形
印模吸出粉皮。
4. 將粉皮包入適量餡料後，把粉皮對摺成半月形，用手
指將縫合處壓緊出漂亮的角邊。
5. 用中火燒熱一鍋油，放入做好的油角，炸透至金黃
色，瀝乾油分待冷便成。

Executive Chef Vincent Wong has selected the finest and freshest seafood, meat

The Café’s Baked Pork Chop with Rice remains the star of the restaurant
Café Royale has recently been given a makeover and unveiled as the new Dynasty
Café, but the same quality of sumptuous food that has always been well-received
by our Members remains. Our signature food such as Baked Pork Chop with Rice,
Curry Beef Brisket with Tendon, and Hainanese Chicken Rice are as popular as ever.
In addition, the freshly made congee and Guangdong noodles which have recently
been added to the restaurant’s menu has quickly become a favourite among diners.
However, the Baked Pork Chop with Rice still commands centre stage as
Dynasty Café’s signature dish served specially for Members to eat to their heart’s
content. In preparing the perfect dish, Executive Chef – Café Ken Chung has
selected the freshest local tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, and green peas to create
his special sauce. His preparation of the fried rice and freshly deep fried pork chop
results in the finest texture that remains crispy in the tomato sauce. Served with
an over easy egg, mixing the egg yolk together with the tomato sauce will help to
conjure its most fantastic flavours.

partnered with different international organisations to hold
fascinating US, Canadian and Australian Beef Talk and Wine
Tasting sessions at the Club. Through the events, Members
gained a better understanding on different cuts of beef, and
relished the chance to pair them with the finest wines to
savour a delectable blend of flavours.

The first Frank Family Vineyards Wine Dinner was held at the Dynasty
Steak House on 23 August. Gracing the event was Mr Edward Skupien, Vice
President of Frank Family Vineyards, who shared a collection of exquisite
wine with our Members and guests during the enjoyable evening.

vineyard’s wines that were appreciated by all who attended the wine dinner.

The action was fast and exciting at The Dynasty Club Swimming Gala on
14 September as children put on a show to the jubilant cheers of their
families. Congratulations to all the participants who proved that their
swimming lessons paid off. The Club thanks our Chief Swimming Coach
Jack Wong and Chibe Liu who trained the children well to excel amidst
the heat of competition. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

Our budding martial arts experts showcased their taekwondo skills and techniques at
the Junior Taekwondo Competition on 10 November, and thoroughly impressed their
families and our judges. We extend our gratitude to Chief Instructor Joe Fok and his
dedicated team who assisted us in making this event a resounding success. The Club
looks forward to seeing you all at next year’s tournament.

The much anticipated Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2014 gets
set to take place on 16 February 2014, featuring a “Run for a Reason” theme
that is sure to inspire all runners.
If you have already signed up for the Half Marathon or the 10 kilometre
event, we have specially arranged for Mr Leung Shu Ming, a leading Hong
Kong runner who specialises in long distance running, to offer Members
a Distance Running programme that will train you on proper running
techniques so you can attain optimum fitness for your safety and enjoyment
in the big race. The training programme includes proper running posture,
speed training at a specific distance or completing a half marathon, aerobic/
distance running, anaerobic/interval training, stretching, avoiding injuries
and race preparation activities.
