Notes of Using Course Attributes
If you want to use Course Attributes in “Course Catalog” to specify courses related to the SDGs, you only
need to input SDG attributes in Course Catalog.
1. Login SIS > Curriculum Management > Course Catalog > Course Catalog
2. Search by subject and catalog number under Correct History Mode
3. Input/update course attributes, including SDG as one of the attribute values. You can input more
than one attribute values, such as SDG01, SDG02, SDG03. Press the “Save” button to save these
records.
4. Course attributes will be used to record SDG related course data.
Choosing the right SDG for Courses
Department and faculty staff shall determine whether the course content of existing courses covers the
topics or keywords of relevant SDGs using information from the course title, course description, and/ or
course syllabus. It is recommended that course instructors shall be consulted on selecting the appropriate
SDGs. Department and faculty staff can also contact the Sustainability Office for additional assistance, if
necessary.
Please refer to the topics, keywords, and example courses provided below for each SDG.
