Extended Nose ModificationBeechcraft King Air 200, 300 and
350
Through our w ork as a prime contractor for th eU.S. Government,
we have modified, certified anddeployed m ultip le B200, 3 00 and
350 King Airs in
support of various customers with a variety of mis-sion requirem
ents. SN Cs inn ovative appro ach tosystem s integration resulted
in t he d evelop m ent ofmodifications for the King Air platform
which allowsfor significant flexibilit y for a variety of uses.
As the holder of the STC (Supplemental Type Certifi-cate) fo r t
he King Air series nose extension, th e th ree
foot structu ral m odification allow s for t he installationof
an electro-m echanical lift m echanism and m ountfor a com m ercial
15 inch, electro-opt ical/ infrared
sensor or similar size device.
This modification allows the sensor to be deployedand retracted
in flight w itho ut altering th e aircraft sfligh t
characteristics. Wh ile on the groun d, the sen-sor is stow ed
providin g a low visibility profile ofthe aircraft and sensor
package.
