    Before we get into Spanish

    Lets define what exactly these terms are:

    DirectObjectPronouns - Pronouns that represent the nounsdirectly acted uponby the verb.

    He licks it. He licks him. e lic!s you. He licks us. He licks me.He licks them.

    IndirectObject Pronouns - Pronouns that represent the nounthat is the recipientof the verb"s action.

    s we said earlier9 the Indirect Object Pronoun is who receivesthe finished action #on the direct object if there is one&; it tells uswhere the direct object is %oin%.

    1O)$ of the time whenever theres an indirect object there will

    be a direct object. Use an Indirect in any circumstance where you can say the

    action is forsomeone.

    It should answer the Euestions F$o whomCF or !or whom"the action of the verb is performed.
