*Working as a team to increase flexibility and maintain cover in
the Distribution Centre
Complying with all procedures and the Code of Ethics
One of the main duties that a storemanis responsible for is
keeping track of what isstored in stock and inventory. The
storemanmust monitor current stock levels and
decide if there is enough or if more should be ordered. The
storeman is also beresponsible for organising inventory so it is
easily accessible and safe for those workingin the storage
area.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:- Dealing with
suppliers deliveries (processing delivery notes, marking goods,
distributing goods inworkshop)- Loading/unloading of vehicles-
Updating on computer .
To assist in the smooth running of the warehouse by receiving
and organising stock inaccordance with the company procedures.
Receive goods inwards, check quantities and condition and
complete paperwork asappropriate
Carry out stock checks as directed by Purchasing/Stock
Controller Ensure that the warehouse/stores are kept in a clean and
orderly Some PC work so basic PC kills are required The storeman is
also be responsible for organising inventory so it is easily
accessible and
safe for those working in the storage area.

this role.
You will need to demonstrate a flexible approach, be able to
work under pressure, be ableto work on your own initiative, as well
as part of a team.-Control of all goods delivered and
issued-Offload all deliveries, check goods are in good condition
and comply with the Deliverynotes.

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own
initiative, have experience of MicrosoftOffice Products and have a
driving licence. Loading and unloading trucksand vans in a safe
manor using suitable liftingequipmentEnsuring materials are counted
and controlled as per procedures and

office personnel.
Ensuring all goods receipts notes are correct and signed
Ensuring database is updated to reflect stock movement in a
timely manner.
