1. THE FIRM
1.1 Brief Description
SURCON COMPANY LIMITED (SURCON) was established in Thailand in 1972 as a limited
company by a group of Thai Engineers to provide a wide range of engineering services. The firm has no direct
or indirect interest in other commercial, manufacturing of contracting activities.
1.2 Personnel
SURCON has retained its highly qualified staff with comprehensive experiences and skills in their
respective fields. The firm is also capable of obtaining an assembly of assistants in any fields which require
specialized skills and expertise to fulfill its clients needs for the achievement of their goals. Following is a list

1.3 Type and Scope of Service
SURCON provides engineering services to private industry, government and semi-government in
structural, industrial, civil sanitary, bridge, road, petroleum and planning fields. The firm also provides subsoil
investigations and foundation, topographic and route surveys on road, canal, manufacturing, building,
petroleum and airport projects. The scope of service includes investigation, report, design, specification,
estimate, contract document, computer applications quality control and construction supervision. The detailed
description of the scope of service is given below.
1.3.1 Site development and investigation, site detailed mapping, subsoil investigation for industrial facilities,
highways, airport facilities and public utilities and buildings.
1.3.2 General civil engineering design road and drainage system for industrial complex, highways and
highway bridges, earthworks, flood protection control and foundation work.
1.3.3 Structural engineering design, reinforced concrete and steel structure for all types of building, highway
bridges and machinery foundation.
1.4 Office Location and Facilities
The Head Office of the firm is located at 83/114 Soi Chinnaket 2, Ngamwongwan Rd., Thungsonghong,
Laksi, Bangkok 10210. An 32 bit computer is available in the Head Office for an engineering design work.

SURCON is equiped with a laboratory located not very far from Head Office. Survey equipment, material
testing equipment and instrument are available in the SURCON laboratory as following. :
