TACIT  INFORMATION  

•  Largely  qualita3ve    •  Stored  in  individual's  head  or  

embedded  within  culture  of  the  organiza3on  

•  Gained  experien3ally  and  thus  cannot  be  easily  ar3culated  or  explained  to  inexperienced  par3es  

•  Tacit  informa3on  held  by  field  staff  is  a  par3cularly  cri3cal  source  of  informa3on  for  internal  monitoring  purposes  

•  Useful  for  guiding  project  management  in  complex  and  dynamic  environments
