Temporary Web Bookings &
Web Ticket Purchase Guide As shown on the figure below the URL www.piac.com.pk points to the landing page of the website from where customers may navigate to the section of interest by clicking the icons or tab pages as it is shown on Figure 1. Figure 1
Important!
The temporary web bookings and credit/debit payment sessions may not be idled for more than 10 minutes between transactions.
Prior to starting online booking through PIA website, the best thing customer can do is to arrange all the necessary information and keep them handy before beginning the booking i.e. CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) or passport details along with details of bank card to be used for online payments.
Please ensure with your bank that your credit/debit card is enabled with E‐Commerce transaction facility.
Upon purchases through Credit/Debit Card Online ‐ Card Holder must be one of the travelling passenger(s). At the time of check‐in, card holder must present original credit/debit card used for purchase of web ticket(s).

Search:
To get started with the booking process customers may submit search on desired origin and destination city. Search request is processed by selection of cities in the ‘from’ and ‘to’ fields, along with dates of trip and selection of passenger type (Adult, Child & Infant) and press the Proceed button as shown in Figure 2. Note: Child and Infant must be accompanied with an Adult passenger. Every infant must be accompanied with an individual Adult passenger. Figure 2
By selecting multi‐city radio button you will be navigated to multi‐city selection page where you will be able to set multiple destinations as shown in Figure 3. Figure 3

Flight Selection:
After clicking the Proceed button you will be navigated to schedule and prices page with details on flight timings with available fare selected dates. Moreover, on this page upon selection of flight, you will find total applicable fares & complete trip information in the Trip Summary column with break up on the applicable taxes and fees for the desired itinerary, as shown in Figure 4. Total Fare quoted in Trip Summary is only available for Online Purchase via credit/debit card. In case of ticket purchase through PIA Ticket Office, Facilitation charges will apply in addition to the fares quoted on website for Temporary Web Bookings.

Fare Rules (must read) ‐ Can be displayed by clicking on View Fare Rules hyperlink indicated at bottom in Trip Summary section, as shown in Figure 5

Passenger Information:
On selecting desired flight and fares you will be navigated to the passenger information page as shown in Figure 6. Figure 6

Attention! Information in all the fields should be entered in the Alphanumeric characters.
All the required fields are marked by an asterisk (*) and must be filled by customer, in order to move further. *Please ensure to enter valid contact number and email address to get updated/informed with current itinerary details and ticket receipt.
Frequent Flyer Miles:
Customers may enter their frequent flyer program membership number in their web reservation to accrue earned miles automatically to their account. To continue your booking you need to click on the Continue button.

Payment:
Please choose a payment method from the given options on payment page. You may pay by selecting PK Ticket Office or by a Credit/Debit card. For customer convenience images of the accepted cards have been displayed as it is shown on Figure 7. To make a temporary web booking and pay by PK Ticket Office, you must select PK Ticket Office radio button in the Payment Type section; choose PK Ticket Office from the list of Card type. Figure 7
If you wish to pay online please choose Credit / Debit Card button in the Payment Type section and confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the Fare Rules and Terms & Conditions by checking the check‐box. In order to proceed, please click the Submit button, as shown below in Figure 8.

Please make sure that you have read and understood the Fare Rules as these may include special restrictions for refunds/exchange penalties such as some fares may be non‐exchangeable, non‐refundable or both. If existing limitations are not suitable you may

contact PIA Call Centre. Finalizing the web ticket purchase will confirm that you have read and accepted the Fare Rules including the Refund and Exchange policy.
Common Errors occurred during Ticketing:
• Session Expiry Customers are requested to enter all the travel information within the session time limit.
• Card Processing Error Please ensure correct PIN is used for online security feature ‐ 3DS for your debit/credit card. Customers may contact their credit/debit card issuing bank to ensure that 3DS feature is enabled on their card for online purchases.
• Payment Error Please contact your bank to confirm online usage activation or availability for sufficient balances in case approval for the transaction does not get processed.
• Reservation Duplication Customer may choose alternate flight or date of travel as a temporary web booking has been already made on the same flight for the said passengers. Best thing is to attempt booking only once the travel plan is finalized and complete the purchase through credit/debit card.
For further assistance, customer is requested to please contact [email protected] along with the URL of error page with snap shot of error. Following information in addition will help us to investigate:
1) Name of Passenger in Full. 2) Date of Departure 3) Route / Sector of travelling 4) Flight number 5) Card (Last four digits) 6) Passport or CNIC
Confirmation:
Temporary Web Booking: If you have chosen PK Ticket Office the confirmation page after clicking the Submit button, the confirmation page with your temporary booking will be displayed as shown in the below Figure 9. Figure 9

You will receive a Temporary Web Booking Email from [email protected] with your itinerary details to purchase it from PK Ticket Office.
*In order to check the applicable Ticketing Time Limit of your booking, please click My Booking and enter your Web Booking Reference (PNR) or customers may also call at PIA Contact Center for further assistance. **Web discounts are not applicable for temporary online bookings and where ticket purchase is made through PIA Ticket Office. Facilitation charges will apply at PIA Ticket Office in addition to the fares quoted on website for temporary bookings.
Web Ticket Purchase Confirmation: If you have chosen Credit/Debit Card option, please click the Submit button, on the confirmation page. Web Ticket Purchase Confirmation Email from [email protected] will be sent to customers email address including the ticket purchase details. *CREDIT / DEBIT CARD used for Web Ticketing purchase(s) should be available & presented for verification at the time of Airport check‐in or at PIA Ticket Offices for change of booking. **Cooperation from our valued customers will be highly appreciated upon receiving call from PIA Contact Centre followed by online purchase to verify contact details along with last four digits of card used to safeguard the interest of our valued customers. ***Customers may contact [email protected] for any further clarification required. Passengers are requested to carry their original credit/debit card (which was used to purchase the ticket online), valid Passport along with Visa (for international travel) or CNIC (for domestic travel) with confirmation email printout to check in.

Email Confirmation (Web Ticket Credit/Debit Purchase):
Fare rules are deep linked in the email message sent as a confirmation to the customers. Essential disclaimers are also placed on the text body of this email as shown in Figure 10. Figure 10

Invoice details will be received as an attachment in the confirmation email. However, customers can also get the invoice details by clicking on the ticket number indicated in the middle of the email besides passenger’s name as indicated in the below Figure 11.

Cancellation and Refund of Web Ticket: If passengers wish to take refund, he/she may cancel the reservation through PIA Contact Centre at (+92‐21)‐111‐786‐786 (or International Toll Free numbers) followed by an e‐mail to PIA Web Refund unit at [email protected] with web ticket number/ receipt and last four digits of credit/debit card. Customers may contact refund team for status of their refund at +9221‐9904‐4963 / +9221‐9904‐3598 / +9221‐9904‐4776
