21st 세기의 Health care 는 개인의 medical skill 에만 의존하는 것이 아니라 , 의학자 , 환자 , 정책결정자 모두에 이르는 intervention 에 기초한 최상의 정보에 의존합니다 . 이러한 접근을 “ evidence-based medicine” 라고 합니다 .

What is a Systematic Review?

The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (Cochrane reviews)

Systematic Review 의 작성자는 특정 질병이나 health care 의 문제를 위한 intervention 을 밝히고 , 이 intervention 이 효과가 있는지 묻습니다 .

이를 위해서 그들은 가능한 한 많은 관련 연구에서 evidence 를 찾고 , 평가하고 , 통합합니다 .

또 , 효과에 대한 결론을 요약하고 , 주어진 topic 에 관한 잘 알려진 evidence 들을 대조하여 다른 사람들이 intervention 의 선행된 연구를 쉽게 review 할 수 있도록 합니다 .

Cochrane Reviews 는 methodological quality 의 가장 높은 기준에 따라 수행됩니다 .

그리고 인쇄 저널로 발행되는 review 보다 훨씬 자주 updated 되고 , 더 나은 quality 의 정보를 제공합니다 .1
