도움이 절실히 필요한 이벤트입니다. 어머님들꼐서 항상 도와주셔서 대단히 감사하지만,
남학생들을 위해서는 아버님들의 도움이 필요합니다. 벌써 지원을 해 주셨다면, 곧 연락을
받으실 겁니다.
이번 이벤트 준비시 유의 사항 :
1) the screening event 와 certification training 등록 하셔야합니다

Center, 450 Northridge Parkway, Sandy Springs, GA 30350 에서 Scoliosis 와 proper
techniques 에 관한 교육을 받으셔야 합니다. (Note: 2년 마다 재발급 받으셔야 합니다.
작년에 하셨다면, 2020년까지 하실 필요 없습니다. 그러나 2017년 후로 교육을 받으시지
않았다면 올해 하셔야 합니다.)

NAEP Assessment in Reading and Math
1월 29일, 무작위로 선출된 8학년 학생들은 다른 지역의 천여명의 학생들과 함께,
학교를 대표해서 NAEP assessment in reading 혹은 math시험을 치름니다.
The Nation’s Report Card라고 알려진, NAEP 는 가장 큰continuing assessment
으로 미국 내 학생들이 알고 있는 지식과 다양한 분야에서 무엇을 할 수 있는지

The information collected is used for statistical purposes only.
• Students’ grades will not be affected.

날입니다. 오디션은 1월 23일 방과후 입니다.
티켓은 1월 24일 로툰다에서 $5에 판매됩니다. 그리고 공연은 1월 30일 수요일

Blue Out Coming Soon
2월 20일에 있을 blue out 을 준비하고 있습니다. 올 해는 매년 하던 것과는 약간의
차이가 있을 겁니다. Blue Out basketballs 은 아침에 도서관 밖에서 $1 dollar 판매
될 것입니다. 추첨을 위하여, 학생들은 본인의 이름을 농구공에 써서 본인이 해당
하는 학년 박스에 넣습니다. 많은 학생들이 기부한다면, 선생님들과 경기를 할 확
률이 많아집니다. 그 날, 점심시간 중에, FIGHT Club 회원들이 추첨을 할 것입니
다. (각 학년에서 4명) 그 학생들은 선생님들과 게임을 할 수 있습니다. 2월 20
수요일을 기억해 주세요. 작년에 여러분의 참여로, $400 을 American Cancer So-
ciety 에 기부할 수 있었습니다. 그리고 학생들과 선생님들 모두 즐거운 시간을 가
졌습니다. 많은 참여 부탁드립니다.

4:30 p.m. Teacher vs Student Game in the gym, With dance performances at half time. 5:30 p.m. Girls AMMS vs Holcomb Bridge 6:30 p.m. Boys AMMS vs Holcomb Bridge (after the girls’ game) Teachers interested in playing in the student vs. teacher game, can email me ([email protected]). I’d like to have a deep bench – just in case we get tired.

AMMS Track 2019
2019 track team에 관심있으십니까? Track team이 작년과 약간 달라졌습니다.
다음을 참고 해 주십시오:
• The extramural packet must be completed. Every line and every signature needs to be filled out along with giving us a copy of your insurance card BE-FORE you can try out! (If you tried out for another AMMS sport then all you should have to turn in is a new concussion form.) Packets from another sport can only be accepted if they are from within the past 12 months. Paper work is due by Monday, Feb. 4th and turned into Coach Shelnutt or Coach Lloyd. • Try-outs will be Feb. 5th-7th after school until 5:00 p.m. Rides must arrive on time for pick up. All three days are MANDATORY unless pre-approved by the coaches. The top 3 finishers in the 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and mile will make the team. The top two will run in the meet and the 3rd runner is an al-ternate. • We will make the relay teams from these runners. • Try-outs for field events are TBA later. • The meet is scheduled for Saturday, March 16th. This is the one and only track meet of the season. Please make sure that you can attend before try-outs. • Practice days are TBA but will be two days a week after school until 5:00 p.m. The Extramural Track Exhibition is scheduled for March 16, 2019 at Milton High School, 13025 Birmingham Highway, Milton, GA 30004.
