Information about the vision and lighting control unit
(CUV)
Changes
The following changes have been made in this
issue:
Chassis serial number for Buses, Scania Lat-in America has been added.
The tables on pages 6, 8 and 10 have been
changed.
Background
Scania has optimised the hardware in the vision
and lighting control unit for the functionality or-
dered. This will affect bodybuilders who use the
functions for spotlights, working lights, front/
rear foglights and direction indicators for trail-
ers.
Production Solution
This modification was introduced into produc-
tion from the following chassis numbers:
Service Solution
Changes are made in the CUV control unit's
functionality. The tables below show how thenew outputs for the outputs compare with previ-
ously.
The control unit's part number can be read di-
rectly on the control unit's label or under the
product information tab in SDP3 (Scania Diag-
nosis and Programmer).

IMPORTANT!
All connected electrical circuits must be pro-
tected with fuses.

IMPORTANT!
If more than 18 A is needed from fuse 30 in the
central electric unit then a separate cable is rout-
ed from the Battery connection for bodybuild-
ing, see the section Installation instructions on
the bodywork website.
