We have proven corruptionin the PCSO because of the P1.5billion alleged as kickbacksfrom advertising placements, ani Sen.

view of the gravity of the case, ani Guingona.

    I congratulate Mr. Garcia for

being a billionaire, ani SenatePresident Juan Ponce Enrile sapagbubukas ng pagsisiyasat ngblue ribbon committee saumanoy maling paggamit sapondo ng PCSO.

I wouldnt wishmy grandchild to [be around] awimpy father who is still breast-fed by his mother.

Such a hypocrite and pathetic

animal!Once and for all, Mark clari-fies that Jake Ejercito, Erapsson (with Laarni Enriquez), isnot the culprit.

Jake is a very refined kid,he points out. We like him alot. Kawawa naman atnadadamay siya sa issue. Knightin shining armor nga siya ni An-di. He has never left Andis sidein spite of her situation. AndIm grateful for that.

Motherhood will definitelygive Andi a deeper reservoir ofemotions, which she can drawfrom, that could make her aneven better actress. The all-outsupport and unwavering love of

Andis family, friends and fansmore than compensate for theabsence of her babys father.Kakulangan siya, pero di siyakawalan.

I salute Andi for being braveenough to keep her baby. She

will surely make a lovely Mama.

    Name that babyKristine Hermosa-Sotto has

the glow of a happy expectantmother. Any names yet for hercoming baby?

May botohan pang maga-ganap from both sides of thefamily, she says, Pag fivemonths na ako, I will have anultrasound. Oyo and I want toknow our babys gender, so wecan make all the right prepara-tions.

Isnt she wary that their3-year-old adopted son Kiel

will get jealous of his futuresibling? Hes too young tounderstand, she says. When he is old enoughand the time is right, weplan to tell him that hesadopted, but it doesntmean we love him less thanour biological kid.

Would he allow Oyo towork with his ex, Nadine

    Samonte, since they are

now both in TV5? Its Oyo whodoesnt want to do that any-more, she explains. Kahit pastis past di maiwasang maintrigasila.

when asked about her son Van-dolph.

AS MARK Gils close friend, I amprivileged to see his soft side, which is totally the opposite of his

villain roles onscreen. The doting father fi-nally speaks up on his daughter Andi

    Eigenmanns unexpected pregnancy.

It doesnt end here for An-di, says Mark. She still has a

long way to go in her career. Iam confident that she will al-

ways stand strong for who sheis. Its not all that bad a situa-tion. As a matter of fact, its a

    beautiful thing.What are his sentiments

about the mysterious father ofAndis baby-to-be?

The father will remain un-known. Di na mahalaga yun.Maraming tatayong ama sa apo

THURSDAY, JULY 7, 2011 7FEATURESIm lost and all alone

into place. I donthave a job, I donthave somebody I cancall my own and mostof all, I dont haveme. I want to put mylife in order but how

and where will Istart? Please help me.

    Sincerely,Rae

DEAR Rae,We all know that lifecan be full of what ifs,

shouldnt haves andwhat could havebeens. All of us cometo a point when we be-

gin to feel sorry forourselves and regretthe moments when wedid wrong when we

DEAR Joe,Just call me Rae. Im 25 years old andcurrently jobless. I am what you mightcall a lost soul. My mom died when Iwas 14 and my dad had to workabroad to support our family. I have abrother and a sister who are both mar-ried so Im left alone to fend for myself.

I have hadtwo not so se-rious relation-ships. I usedto work at afood chain asa Manage-

    ment Traineeand my last

job was at a medium-sized savings bank. Idont know Joe, butevery time I see some-thing I dislike in the

workplace, I quit thejob. Ive been joblessfor 2 years now andlately Ive been want-ing to go out of thecountry but to no

avail. This is where allthe confusion started. When I was still

working at the bank, Ifell in love with mybranch accountant

who happened to be avery good friend ofmine. Hes everythinga girl would want in aman. Nice, caring andfunny but married.

At first, I never toyedwith the idea of hav-ing anything to do

with him but just be-ing my friend. I canlive with that but af-ter I resigned, ourcommunication con-tinued. He was al-ready sending signalsand I was more than

willing to fall victimto his prey. In fair-ness, Joe, he told methat he cant give me

anything. But youknow what I replied,Why, am I asking foranything in return?I wont demand any-thing from you and Iknow where I stand

were my famouslines. I know I was toblame because hegave me the chanceto get out but I choseto stay. You see Joe, I

    just want to love and

    be loved.I was really blind-

ed by my affection forhim. It didnt matterif he loved me too. AllI know is that I amhappy whenever I am

with him, wheneverIm talking to him. I

was content withwhat he could giveme. I surrendered my-

self to him, Joe. Butafter getting whatseems to be like theonly thing he wantedfrom me, he disap-peared. He left mehanging in the air. Icalled him and heres

what he told me,Rae, somebody outthere is meant for youand its not me. My

    world crumbled into

pieces upon hearingthat. I cant believethat he was able todo that to me. Ithought that I knewhim so well.

Now, Im slowlybringing back the bro-ken pieces of my life.Ive learned my les-son. Just like what

you used to say inyour program, Donot fight for what

your heart tells youbut fight for what youbelieve is good andright. I know thatnow. I shouldnt haveentertained thoughtsof flirting with him inthe first place. Ishouldnt have letthings go this far. Ishouldnt have fol-lowed my heart.

    To this guy, I want

    to say sorry for loving

could have done right. But that is exactly

what mistakes are for.To open our eyes towhat is right andmake us realize thatwe always have to pay

    for the wrong that wedo.

Rae, you knew thatyou were getting intoa no entry zone and

you have been fore-warned. But, you stillinched you way inwith utter disregard

for its consequences. You know very wellthat you should have

taken his words not asa challenge but as awarning to stop what-ever it is that you havein mind.

You were searchingfor love that youthought youll find inthe foundations of a

sexual relationship, but you missed out onthe line thats drawnbetween being loved by

someone and beingused by someone.Sometimes it is notlove but passion thatmakes our hearts beattwice as fast. Many

fail to notice the differ-ence because they actbased on what they

feel and not on whatthey know.

Rae, you have beenthrough a lot in yourlife. I know it is toughbeing alone. But you

should not permit yourworld to fall apart justbecause nobody seemsto care. You and only

    you alone can make a

difference in your life.Stop being sorry forwhat you dont have

and start buildingwith what you have. You may have lost alot but that doesntmean that your lifewill forever be miser-able. There is defeatonly when we give up.

But as long as we be-lieve in ourselves, therewill always be hope. Itisnt easy findingmeaning in an exis-

tence that seems tohave lost its directionbut our life, no matterhow insignificant itmay seem, will alwayshave a meaning and a

purpose. The fact thatwe are still alive andbreathing should giveus more than enoughreason to be thankful.

Let this be our chal-lenge in spite of theodds, to find love in

pain, courage in mis-ery and hope in a lifethat seems to have lostits meaning. Start liv-ing your best life now.
