1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background

THABEMPHO TRADING (t/a TmT Cleaning) was founded and established in Johannesburg, Gauteng Province in 2000 as a trading and services company. It offers affordable, quality contract cleaning service for commercial, industrial and retail companies. The provision of cleaning services has been the core function since inception. It is a 100% black female owned and managed business with a keen interest in the development and growth of previously disadvantaged groups and communities in South Africa.

ThabeMpho Trading has already established business relations with Eskom Distribution, Eskom Customer services, Bigen Africa, Silver- Arrow Consulting, Line Property group 4, RCM Attorneys and various other companies in South Africa on a joint venture capacity. The company has thus accumulated the required experience and knowledge to serve more clients. A strong service and quality orientation has been the key to ongoing success in serving current client needs.

As a developing player, ThabeMpho is determined to innovate in its quest to enhance

client satisfaction.

2. SERVICES OFFERED

ThabeMpho’s core business is rendering comprehensive pre and post occupational cleaning services and solutions to companies that outsource their non-core cleaning functions.

Our areas of expertise include:

2.1 Cleaning Services

2.1.1. Corporate Office Cleaning.

Individualized pre/ post-occupational and contract office cleaning, ranging from small office areas to large executive office suites.

2.1.2. Commercial Cleaning: Retail Premises Department Stores Supermarkets Hotels Restaurants Schools Factories

2.1.3. Floor Cleaning (All types of floors) Deep Scrubbing Stain removing Striping and Sealing Polishing

2.1.4. Carpet Cleaning

Medium to deep carpet cleaning and maintenance/ once off deep cleaning.Wet Extraction Method and Dry Carpet Cleaning ( Host System)

2.1.5. High and Low Level Window Cleaning

Maintenance of windows ranging from single storied buildings to multiplestoried building. Window Cleaning Team Leader- Certified in level one and two Rope Access from the South African Industrial Rope Access Association (Sairaa)

2.1.6. Pest Control

This service we manage and outsource to qualified and reputable companies.

2.1.7. Janitorial/Hygiene Services

We supply and manage janitorial consumables using consumable control sheets as well as hygiene services on request. Ranging from toilet-paper rolls to sanitary bins and Automatic air fresheners. We supply and maintain these services on a monthly rental basis or on an outright purchase. We also manage exisiting units from external service contractor (e.g. Steiner, Kimberly Clark, Masana Hygiene).

2.2. Garden Maintenance

These services include:

Grass Mowing / Trimming Composting/Top Soiling Bed Maintenance Plot Cleaning Bush/ Tree trimming Refuse Removal Instant lawn planting. Landscaping. We also do seasonal garden programmes for the maintenance of your

garden.

2.3. Waste Management

This includes:

Recyclable waste management Commercial waste management General waste management.

2.4. Car Washing Services.

The maintenance of cars including:

Wash & Go (external) Wash, Dry and Vacuum Service Wash, Dry, Vacuum and Polish (full house)

2.5. Minor Office Corporate ServicesThese comprise of:

Tea Making services Messaging services Minor office administration (internal post management, filing, etc)

2.6 Event management Cleaning/MaintenanceThis includes:

Event Cleaning Stadium Pre and Post Occupational Services Provision of Hygiene consumable for events. Specialized VIP lounge maintenance/ management.

3. Operations

3.1. Contracting Procedure

THABEMPHO TRADING aims to build long-lasting professional working relationships & promises to continually provide services with integrity. After a full client brief, a full assessment is conducted by ourselves based on the clients’ requirements - whereby our company will submit a full in depth proposal.

The proposal will fully outline in detail

Cleaning programme as per request including implementation plan. Human resource requirements- including staff organisational structure Tailor made cleaning schedules and Costing options Detailed chemicals and machinery to be used Supervisory monitoring and evaluation procedures

3.2. Chemicals.

ThabeMpho Trading is committed in protecting the environment and general health of the public, and in its ongoing commitment to providing quality service-ThabeMpho Trading continually updates all its chemical data sheets in accordance with current industry/supplier requirements. We only use S.A.B.S approved chemical products that are non-hazardous and friendly to the environment

3.3. Machinery and Equipment

ThabeMpho prides itself with all their machinery that is of the highest quality, low in energy consumption and not noisy. Regular equipment maintenance is carried out on a monthly basis, which includes cleaning, preventative maintenance and product upgrades by original supplier to maximize full potential of machine. Warning signs are in constant display during necessary cleaning processes to avoid accidents

Our machinery and tools suppliers are: WAP WETROK and NUMATIC INTERNATIONAL COLUMBUS SA TOOL TAVERN- MIDRAND

3.4. Uniforms and Protective Gear

3.4.1. Uniforms

Because our staff members are sometimes the first point of contact on our clients’ premises- all staff are fully uniformed in the attire chosen by our company. Our company uniform also bears our name and company logo. Nametags are also provided for identification and security purposes.

3.4.2. Protective Clothing

All staff members are provided with adequate personal protective clothing to ensure their safety and necessary precautionary measures associated with particular cleaning processes are considered. These may range from goggles, safety shoes, gloves or overalls

1.1. Mpho Sono - Managing Director (B. Tech Environmental Health)

Mpho Sono is a qualified and registered Environment Health Officer who completed her 3yr National Diploma in 1998 at Pretoria Technikon as well as her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health in 2005.

She has completed practical training, which was done with Midrand, Johannesburg, and Pretoria Local Councils. The training included:

Malaria Control Programme Community Development in health promotion Water conservation Waste Management Sanitation programme Integrated waste management Occupational health and safety. Air pollution control Community Profiling, etc

She joined Malope Health Care Services on a contractual period (3 months) where she was an Environmental Co-coordinator:
