CÀI ĐẶT ZOTERO
Sử dụng Zotero tại trung tâm CREATA
Tải và cài đặt ZoteroTruy cập vào đường Link http://www.zotero.org/download/
Sử dụng Zoterotích hợp trực tiếp
như Add-ons ngay trên Web browser của
Firefox (online)
Sử dụng Zotero như mộtSoftware có tích hợptính năng lưu thông tin
trên Browser
A.Cài đặt trên Firefox
1) Truy cập http://www.zotero.org
2) Click vào hộp Download Now, sẽ đưa bạn truy cập
vào trang http://www.zotero.org/download/
3) Click Zotero 4.0 for Firefox
4) Nếu đây là lần đầu tiên bạn tải Zotero, bạn sẽ nhận
được một hộp thoại, click nút Allow cho phép cài đặt
phần mềm.
5) Một hộp thoại sẽ xuất hiện yêu cầu bạn cài đặt file
trên trình duyệt Firefox. Click Install Now.
6) Bạn cần khởi động lại trình duyệt Firefox.

• Khi cài đặt Zotero Word Processor Plugin, bạn có thể nhìnthấy Plugin tích hợp trên chương trình soạn thảo văn bản nhưhình dưới.

B.Cài đặt bằng Zotero Standalone
1) Truy cập http://www.zotero.org
2) Click vào hộp Download Now, sẽ đưa bạn truy
cập vào trang http://www.zotero.org/download/
3) Click Zotero Standalone
I. Zotero 4.0 cho Mac http://download.zotero.org/standalone/4.0.17/Zotero-‐4.0.17.dmg hoặc
II. Zotero 4.0 cho Windows http://download.zotero.org/standalone/4.0.17/Zotero-‐4.0.17_setup.exe
4) Bấm vào Next theo các hộp thoại xuất hiện để càiđặt
5) Plugin cho Word đã được cài đặt đồng thời.

Những full-text của bài báo dưới dạng pdf thường được chứa đựng đầy đủ thông tin của tác giả và bài báo. Bạn chỉ cần kéo file pdf vào cửa sổ làm việc của zotero.
Sau đó, thực hiện click chuột phải chọn Retrieve Metadata for PDF

Cách này được áp dụng khi dữ liệu citation của bạn không được zotero hỗ trợbằng việc xuất hiện các icon trên thanh tool bar của trình duyệt. Ví dụ dữ liệu từtrabg Scopus

Trong cửa sổ làm việc của Zotero bạn chọnimport để nhập dữ liệu từ file Scopus.ris. Zoterohỗ trợ import các loại dữ liệu sau:

3) Nếu đây là lần đầu tiên bạn thêm trích dẫn trên một cửa sổDocument Preferences window sẽ được mở ra. Chọnbibliographic format bạn muốn sử dụng từ danh sách và click OK.

4) Sau khi bạn chọn format, Một hộp chức năng màu đỏ sẽxuất hiện trên tệp tài liệu. Bạn có thể bắt đầu gõ keyword như“Sexual health”, lựa chọn item trong pop-up list.

• Click lựa chọn item you bạn muốn trích dẫn, nhấn phímEnter tureen bàn phím. Bạn sẽ thấy trích dẫn phù hợp trênđoạn văn bản bạn trích dẫn.
5) Để tạo bibliography từ tất cả items you mà bạn trích dẫn, click the “Zotero Insert Bibliography” button

• Số lượng Citation Style mặc định của Zotero khá ít. Chúng ta có thể bổ sung thêm các style khác từ http://www.zotero.org/styles/
• Vào Zotero Preferances Cite Style; Chọn + (plus)

Có khá nhiềudạng dữ liệumà zotero cóthể xuất ra
• Nếu Zotero to Refworks: nên chọnFormat dạng RIS
• Nếu Zotero to Endnote: nên chọnFormat dạng Refer/BibIX
Việc chuyển dạng dữ liệu từ Refworks/Endnote cũng khá dễ dàng khi xuất địnhdạng mà Zotero có thể import được (Zotero RDF, MODS, BibTeX, RIS, Refer/BibIX và Unqualified Dublin Core RDF)

• If you're regularly using more than one computer in your research, Zotero's sync feature can keep your library up to date on all of them. Zotero can store a copy of your library on the Zotero.org server and check it for updates whenever you open your library on a different computer. All your computers must be running the same version Zotero and be configured to sync to the server.
• Zotero syncing has two parts: data syncing and file syncing. Data (i.e. any text other than attachment files) syncing is free, has no storage limit, and can be used without file syncing.
•1) First, set up a Zotero.org user account at zotero.org/user/register.
This is free.2) Open Zotero preferences (via the gear menu) and select the Sync
tab. Enter your Zotero user name and password.3) Repeat this configuration on each of your computers. Any updates
you make on one of your computers will be reflected on the others. This even works to synchronize your library among Windows, Mac and Linux computers.

2) you sign up a new an account. With a personal account, you get 10GB free space
