Grid
Grid is technology that can bound and unify remote and diverse distributed resources and as such it provides services.
…there is a hundreds of grid definitions

Web Services, Grid, e-Learning
• Infrastructure for Learning Services, where learning services are differentiated from learning objects and put in the context of Web services.
• Examples: ELeGI, LearnServ, Smart Space for Learning, increasing number of publications on topic “E-Learning as a Web Service”
My favorite quote from Thomas Earl’s book: SOA: Concepts, Technology, Design, Prentice Hall, ISBN 0131858580, 2006 m.
IT professionals were discussing their environments, when one asked if his team was building a SOA…
The answer followed: “My architect thinks it is service-oriented, my developers insist it’s OO, and my analyst wish it would be more business-oriented.”
Thus, our experience gained coincide completely with this view .
