1. Dubious - doubtful; marked by or occasioning doubt:
2. Virtues - moral excellence; goodness; righteousness.
3. Absentmindedly – so lost in thought that one does not realize what one is doing, what is happening
4. Aghast - struck with overwhelming shock or amazement; filled with sudden fright or horror

5. Persisted - to continue steadfastly or firmly in some state, purpose, course ofaction, or the like, especially in spite of opposition, remonstrance,etc.
6. Compound -composed of two or more parts, elements, or ingredients
7. Immersed - plunged or sunk in or as if in a liquid.
8. Mechanically - having to do with machinery, being a machine, operated by machinery.
