דבר תורהRabbi Yitzchok Grossbard

Dean, Yeshiva Bais Yehudah

”היום הזה ה' אלקיך מצוך לעשות את החקים האלה...“

“היום הזה to explain why the Torah says מדרש תנחומא brings the רש"י הק' “,

This day Hashem commanded you… Why “this day” when in fact the Torah was given

forty years earlier?

“בכל יום יהיו בעיניך חדשים כאילו בו ביום נצטוית עליהם ”

Every day you should view the Mitzvos as new as if on that very day you were

commanded about them

Rav Mordechai Schwab ל“זצ would often say that if someone would hear his Rebbi,

the great Rav Boruch Ber ל“זצ , begin, even begin, saying a Gemora, he would have

a small glimpse of what מתן תורה must have been like. Rav Boruch Ber would begin

the words with such an intense mixture of excitement and awe that one would think

he was seeing a Gemora for the first time in his life!

Let’s try to keep the enthusiastic way we have begun our לימוד התורה and

!alive every single day שמירת המצוות
