Put on safety glasses. Place the flange end of the guide rod on a flat,strong surface such as the top of a work bench) with the guide rodpointed straight up. Turn the rod so that the head of the take-down pinis facing your left. Hold the guide rod flange firmly down against thetable with the thumb and forefinger of your left hand. Grasp theflange area of the plug with your right thumb and fore-finger, carefullypush the plug down and compress the recoil spring slightly. Hold theplug steady with your right hand and carefully remove the take-down

pin with your left hand Immediately grasp the base of the guide rodagain and slowly let the plug ease upward to let the recoil spring decompress Hold both the base of the guide rod and the recoil springplug firmly and keep your face clear of the plug Re assemble inreverseorder after replacement of recoil springand SHOK BUFF®

P R O P E R L U R I C T I O N

After cleaning, we recommend that your pistolbe lubricated withULTIMA LUBE® Universal

L u b e Points:

Slide - 2-3 drops inside top just in front of locking lug cuts.

Barrel - 1 drop on eachside of slide stop lug and at each slidestop bearing surface. 2 drops at the muzzleand wherethe barrel contacts the ID of barrel bushing.

Frame - 1-2 drops both front and rear on the frame rails as wellas in the slide rail cu t on each side

Guide Rod- 2-3 drops on the exterior surface where contact with theplug is made.

A basic rule of thumb is to apply a thin coat of lube anywhere you seesign of metal to metal contact and don t apply lube anywhere else.

Excess lubewill only get you dirty and collect firing residue. A pistol

Pull the recoil spring forward off the guide rod, rotate the barrel link tothe rear then pull the guide rod up and out. Rotate the barrel bushingone-third turn counter clock-wise and pull the barrel bushing forwardout of the slide. If the bushing is pretty tight in the slide, you can gently use the barrel as a battering ram to tap the bushing forward and out.The pistol is now field stripped for normal cleaning and lubrication. After re-assembly make sure the recoil spring plug is completely flushwith the front of the slide. Should the plug be recessed approximately .070 the pistol is improperly re assembled and will notfunction properly

F I E L D S T R I P P I N G S T E L T H

Dis-assembly of the STEALTH with its tapered cone lock-up is basically the same as previously discussed. The only difference is theguide rod assembly.

Remove magazine and check to make sure the pistol is unloaded.Lock the slide to the rear with the slide stop. Using a 3/16 alienwrench unscrew the forward half o f the full length guide rod remove. Close the slide and remove the slide stop. PUT ON SAFETYGLASSES, ease the slide assembly forward and off the frame while

cupping your hand around the recoil spring to contain it. Remove therecoil spring and rear half of the guide rod from the rear. Remove theflange style recoil spring plug from the rear. Rotate the barrel link forward and pull the barrel out of the slide.

CAUTION: When re-installing the front half of the two-piece guiderod, DO NOT LOC-TITE or OVER TIGHTEN, over tightening cancause damage to your frame.

The WILSON COM T® pistol is a finely tuned piece ofequipment constructed by knowledgeable technicians toextremely close tolerances. It is tightly fitted to assure

maximum accuracy and long service life. We recommendthat you fire a minimum of 300-500 rounds of full chargeammunition thru this pistol prior to initial dis-assembly.This break-in is necessary to allow the contact surface toproperly seat , thus insuring dependable functioning.

removed and a live round in the chamber Grasp the cocking serrations of the slide flip the thumb safety off and SLOWLY retract theslide When the cartridge rim contacts the ejector nose the live roundwill either pivot up and out of the ejection port or come loose from theextractor hook and fall thru the empty magazine well WARNING:Never retract the slide rapidly to unload a live round the ejector nosecould contact the primer and detonate the cartridge
