Quote of the Day
“Be a good person but don’t waste time to prove it” ~ Manas Disoriya
Thought for the Day
A judge was interviewing a woman regarding her pending divorce, and asked, "What are the grounds for your divorce?"
She replied, "About four acres and a nice little home in the middle of the property with a stream running by."
"No," he said, "I mean what is the foundation of this case?"
"It is made of concrete, brick and mortar," she responded.
"I mean," he continued, "What are your relations like?"
"I have an aunt and uncle living here in town, and so do my husband's parents."
He said, "Do you have a real grudge?"
"No," she replied, "We have a two-car carport and have never really needed one."
"Please," he tried again, "is there any infidelity in your marriage?"
"Yes, both my son and daughter have stereo sets. We don't necessarily like the music, but the answer to your questions is yes."
"Ma'am, does your husband ever beat you up?"
"Yes," she responded, "about twice a week he gets up earlier than I do."
Finally, in frustration, the judge asked, "Lady, why do you want a divorce?"
"Oh, I don't want a divorce," she replied. "I've never wanted a divorce. My husband does. He said he can't communicate with me!"

General Tips
Every little bit is a step to help save the earth. Can also save you money too.
1. Don't Rinse - Skip rinsing your plates before putting them into the dishwasher. In average you will save 15 gallons of water per load. Plus, you will save time.
2. Hang Outside to Dry - Get a cloths line or rack to dry your clothes.
3. Turn off computers at night - you will save an average of 4cents/day =$14.60 a year.
4. Use Both Sides of Paper - You will save half of the amount of paper.
5. Get rid of baths - You will in average save about half the amount of water that you would if you were taking a bath.
6. Don't get bottled water - Instead of bottled water get a reusable container to carry water.
7. Turn the water off when you brush - You will save 4 gallons of water doing this alone.
8. Shorten your shower - Every minute you cut from your shower is roughly 5 gallons of water.
9. Recycle Glass - If you do not recycle this, it will take a million years to decompose.
10. Don't Pre-Heat the Oven - unless needed, just turn the oven on after you put the dish in it.
11. Use Warm or Cold Setting on Washer - instead of the hot cycle use the warm or cold setting. This will save a lot of energy a year.
12. Turn Down your Thermostat - Every degree lower in the winter or higher in the summer you put it is a 10% decrease on your energy bill.
13. Turn off your lights - The benefits are obvious.
14. Get rid of junk mail - It will lead to a lot less trees being cut down to take up room in your mailbox.
15. Use Matches instead of lighters - You can use the cardboard matches which are much more eco-friendly because they are made of recycled material.
16. Don't get a paper phone book - Use a online directory instead.
17. Give things away - Take things that you are not going to wear or use and give it to a charity or someone who will use it.
18. Go to a car wash - Going to a car wash is a lot more water efficient then washing your car at home.

In June 2013, a notice was distributed to the Home Island community that explained the digital tv switchover. The notice also included an explanation as to the provision of the Indonesian TV. It stated that:
“In respect to the provision of Indonesian TV to households, the Shire’s previous equipment will become obsolete however, as long the service remains operational residents will continue to receive the channels but it must be reiterated that when the equipment fails, it will not be repaired due to the failing cabling that feeds this service and the exorbitant repair costs. Residents wishing to continue to receive Indonesian TV are encouraged to erect satellite dishes with their own receivers.”
The equipment has now failed and the Shire therefore encourages those wishing to continue to receive Indonesian TV to consider erecting their own satellite dish.

In your life, there are a lot of important things, but there are few things more important than your health. It’s vital that you do whatever you can to look after yourself. That’s why you need to consider the best ways to protect and preserve your health as you approach your later years. So here’s a few tips to help you to a healthy and prosperous existence.
Cardio
As you get older, your heart becomes more and more important. Heart attacks become more common, and problems start to arise. That’s why one of the best things you can do is exercise that will help your heart. Cardiovascular exercise, or, simply, cardio is doing any activity that gets your heart rate going. You should consider things like swimming, cycling, running, and, even love making! These will all help to get the blood pumping and get your heart rate going. They are key to a strong and healthy heart, and that is essential for your health.
Improve Quality of Life
Another thing that you need to consider is how to improve your quality of life when you get older. This means thinking about things like your diet and your care. Basically, you want to focus on helping improve your quality of life as you get older. You will find that you aren’t able to do as many things as you were when you were younger. So, come up with ways to get that quality of life back. If you’re elderly you might think about the likes of a care home.
Yoga
As well as improving your body you also have to improve your mind. And there are a lot of things you can do to help you achieve this. Something like yoga would be ideal for older people. This is because it helps to get you fit and healthy. But, it also soothes your mind and releases stress as well. You need to understand that your mental health matters just as much as your physical health. So, that is one of the reasons why yoga is such a good solution to many of your health and fitness problems.
As you get older, you need to take steps to look after your health better. Older age brings with it diminished health and bodily function. So you need to use as many tips and techniques as possible to look after yourself. Health and fitness play a huge role in your life, and you need to do what you can to improve yours as much as possible.

Business and Government Scam Warning Scammers are now hacking business computers and impersonating email accounts in a scam known as a ‘man in the middle attack’. Consumer Protection and the WA Police Major Fraud Squad are now warning anyone making payments to suppliers to be careful. In the past 2 years commer-cial businesses and not-for-profits in WA have lost about $500,000 to these crooks. Interstate things have been even worse. Brisbane City Council lost $450,000 to this type of scam – so now it’s not only small business, but also local and state government agencies who need to be on the alert. These scammers are smart. They: research your organisation and the goods, services and suppliers you use; call to find out who deals with your finance matters; and send emails containing links or attachments that can download ‘spyware’, giving these crooks access to information on your computers or mobile
devices. Before making any payments it’s important to: verify ANY payment requests received via email. Call rather than use the net; have a strong system for checking and approving payments (two-step authorisation for example); use your suppliers known email address (double check it!) rather than simply replying to supplier emails; virus check any computer that receives a suspicious email; and be suspicious if you get a call asking for information about how you pay invoices or where senior staff will be on certain days. The people behind this scam carefully research target organisations and suppliers. They phone to get the name of the person paying the invoices and pretend to be a supplier. They ask for all future payments to go to a new account, one that only the scammers have access to. Some even send emails pretending to be the business CEO instructing staff to make the changes! So, what to do if you think you’ve been a target? Successful scams – ring the WA Police Major Fraud Squad on 131 444 as soon as possible. You spot the scam - report the matter to WA ScamNet on 1300 30 40 54. Alert the genuine supplier and your staff about an attempted fraud. Run a virus scan on any computer or device that has received the email.

How do I do it?
The object is to insert the numbers in the boxes to satisfy only one condition: each row, column and group of squares enclosed by the bold lines must contain the digits 1 through 9 exactly once.
The rules for different size and shape puzzles are pretty much identical. The different size puzzles simply require a different set of numbers.
Brainteaser Answer
The murderer is Marcus. The notes hinted towards the name of Marcus. How? Just take the first letter from Compound, Art Room, Restroom, Underwater Room, Study Room and Movie Room and you will get: C, A, R, U, S and M. Rearranging these words leads to the name Marcus who is the murderer.
Sudoku Station
Hercule Poirot was called to investigate a murder case where the killer seemed enthusiastic about leaving the clues behind probably because he was intrigued by the intelligence and crime solving skills of Hercule Poirot.
Loraine was murdered in her house. She was stabbed to death. There were five people present in her house at the time of the murder - Christopher, Marcus, Stella, Mindy and Sophia.
The murderer left a note on six different places: Compound, Art Room, Restroom, Underwater Room, Study Room and Movie Room with a single line text in each one of them - "The clues are where you find the notes."
While there was nothing found at the places where the note was left, Hercule Poirot was able to find the murderer.
Can you decipher the clues and find out who the murderer is?
