How To Set Materiality
We set materiality by aligning
initiative with:
1. Risk Assessment
2. AMDAL / UKL UPL
3. Social Mapping
4. Materiality Assessment
5. RPJMD

Biodiversity
• Planting a forest for the preservation of 21 endangered native
plants on 7.2 hectares of company land
• Mangrove conservation, protection of the Proboscis Monkey in
Tarakan
• Supports conservation of the endangered Maleo, a bird species in
Sulawesi
14
Enhancing Livelihoods, Enabling Communities
• Reduce carbon emissions by avoiding use of fire in land clearing
and composting of farming/plantation waste instead of burning
• Reduce methane emissions from paddy fields and plantations
through organic farming (17%) & Reduce water use in farming
(43%),
• Increasing income generation by improving harvest quality
through the use of local seeds and stopping the use of chemicals
leading to increase of harvest quantity (60-100%)
