‘Foster Friend UK’ Program is aiming to computer educate 1000 children from 120 rural villages. We have selected 1000 needy children (based on strict criteria). You - being a ‘Foster Friend UK’ can select one or few from the list, and Foster support.
Be a Foster Friend in UK to help a Friend in Sri Lanka
Your ‘Foster Support’ may help your Friend in Sri Lanka to receive Basic computer training.
You can communicate with your Friend in Sri Lanka
‘Foster Friend UK’ helps you to see how your friends in Sri Lanka receive the training, and change their lives…., some times in the entire village.

Buddhism, Agriculture, Sinhalese and Dancing. My favourite subjects

I am an active member of the Village Information Centre (VIC).
I like Athletics and Cricket.
Hello, my name is Chaturanga Bandara. I live in Hippola, Sri Lanka
and I am 15 years old.
I have one elder sister (17) and a younger brother (1). My mother is a house wife and father is a Mason.

5 Pounds – will help your Friendto buy computer books
Your donation will be tracked by Fusion-Sri Lanka and organize the training for your Friend, at a computer training centre (Rural Telecentre).
S/he will receive 3 months of basic computer training.
It does NOT stop there.
They will support the other children (their friends) in their Villages, through Fusion’s VIC (Village Information Centre) program.
So, Your ‘Foster Friend’ donation, finally fosters a ‘Chain Reaction’ within their villages.
Communicate with the Friend
1. Introductory Email / Letter from your Friend – in Sri Lanka (confirmation of donation)
2. Your Friend will inform beginning of the Computer training
3. Your Friend will inform how s/he progress the Training
4. At the end, your Friend will inform outcome of the Training
All communication may happen through your e-mail address, person-to-person, in English.
(note: Fusion may assist your Friend for English language translations if required).

I have worked as an active member of the VIC. Collected information
about village, and information from old news papers.
Other activities I do include Athletics and Cricket.
